READING: Kumaks Fish: Our skill this week is Sequence. The vocabulary skill is Unknown Words. Our phonics pattern this week is Base Word
Endings ed, -ing, -er, -est.
SOCIAL STUDIES: We will begin Chapter 1 Our Communities
GRAMMAR: This week our skill is Declarative and Interrogative Sentences.
WRITING: This week we will continue working on Personal Narratives.
MATH: We will continue working on Unit 1 this week.
SCIENCE: This week we will be testing over chapter 1 in life science on
Friday. Students will need to study Thursday night.

Math:

Students will be able to use a number grid to find the difference between numbers.

Please complete the weekly goal review activities below. Cut off the bottom portion and return it
to school on Monday. The top portion should stay at home for future reference.

focusing on sequencing words. Weekly Activities: As your child reads, ask him/her to
