The Princess of Volturi

I told most people about this and to look out for it! So hope
you like it! Took so long so you better! Lol!

My name is Isabella Volturi and I am the Princess of Volturi.

My father, Aro is one of the leaders of Volturi along with my
uncles, Caius and Marcus.

It was my birthday tomorrow so Aro had announced a ball to

take place; I was going to turn 100 years old so my father said,
“This is worth celebrating honey, so enjoy it.” He turned to
leave but then looked back, “Oh, by the way, in this ball I was
planning to introduce you to all the covens, I have already sent
out invitations, you don’t mind, do you? They should get to
know their Princess,” and with that he left me standing there,
staring into space. He wanted to introduce me to the all the
coven, oh great (!)

EPOV

My family and I were now in Volterra as it was the Princess’s

birthday; I didn’t even know they had a Princess but never mind.
Since we were all going to the ball Alice dragged all of us to the
mall – even Carlisle; we had to buy suits and presents, the
invitation said to bring something for the Princess’s birthday. I
really hope she won’t be really snobby.

“Edward, come on!” Alice shouted at me as I was lagging

behind everyone; but how can you blame me I was in the mall!
Plus I was the only one without a mate, Alice has Jasper,
Carlisle has Esme, Rosalie has Emmett, which left me alone.

However, there was Tanya but she doesn’t interest me A-T A-L-
L (at all). She’s just so predictable and boring! It’s like I don’t
see her in colour but in black and white which blends into the
background. The Denali Clan was going to meet us at our house
so we can go to there together (!) *Sigh*

“I’m coming,” I said with a smile to get rid of the worried

glance Esme was giving me, she smiled brightly at me. I
couldn’t bear to see Esme upset, let alone be the cause of it.
Esme, the only mother I ever knew, you tend to forget your
human memories after a while, they go fuzzy, then just go, so
Esme is my mother.

I quickened up my pace so I was walking beside Jasper, Are you

ok Edward? Of course Jasper noticed my mood, sensed my
distress, he always did.

“I’m fine,” I whispered.

BPOV

Today was the day of the ball, my birthday. I was 100 –

practically an adult (!) But still my father and my uncles treat
me like a child, ha!

“Come on Bella, you have to get ready,” Heidi knocked on my

door, waiting for an invitation to come inside.

“Right, sorry Heidi, come in.”

“Thanks,” She said as she hurried in and ran across the room to
my walk in closet. Yes, you heard correctly, and I absolutely
love it! Note to self: Thank Daddy for it. “Now, have you
figured out what you are going to wear to the ball?”

“No, not really, it doesn’t really matter does it?” I said

nonchalantly, shrugging and rolling my eyes; it’s a habit of
mine.
“Of course it matters! You’re going to be introduced to all the
covens; all the vampires in the world. Aren’t you even the
slightest bit excited or nervous?” Heidi asked sitting on the
corner of my bed, her red eyes wide with curiosity.
I gave a small smile; I held up my hand and showed the small
sign, “Just a little bit nervous”. We both giggled.

“Ok, now what to wear?” Heidi stood back up and started

towards my closet, “Oh yes, I do have something for you!” and
with that she ran out of my room and in a second ran back in
carrying something big.

“What is it?” I asked wearily, she knew I hated surprises, or

anything remotely close to that.

“Don’t worry so much, I didn’t spend a penny on you, this

actually isn’t even from me, ok?” An impatient look shadowed
her face.

“Ok,” I said slowly, “So what is it? Who’s it from?” I was

actually pretty curious.

“Ok, let me see,” she opened the zip on the bag and pulled out a
vintage, silky dress. It was red and absolutely beautiful. “Wow,
Bella, come here,” she laid the dress on my bed, inspecting it.

“Who is it from?” I asked again, getting quite impatient.

“It doesn’t say but it’s addressed to you Bella, so come on try it
on!” Her excitement was contagious as I soon found myself
wanting to wear it, needing to feel the silk on my skin.

I quickly but carefully put it on; I would never forgive myself if

I accidently done something to it, like ripped it in half or
stepped on the trail and tore it.
I stepped into the bathroom and let myself relax under Heidi’s
ministrations.

“Eddie,” Tanya came into the living and cried out my name.
Today was the day of the ball and the Denali Clan was staying
with us until this was over.

Tanya was wearing a black dress which was came up to her mid
thighs, showing a lot of skin. “Please don’t call me that Tanya,”
I was trying to keep civilised and gentlemanly.

“But I like the name ‘Eddie’, Eddie,” She giggled. Urgh! This
woman is so annoying that I just wanted to lose my calm and
fling her across the room so she wasn’t so close to me. I
clenched my fist and gritted my teeth.

“Don’t you have to get ready Tanya?” I tried to be casual;

hopefully I came across that way.

“Oh, yeah, I’ll see you later,” She lowered her voice; I presumed
she was trying to sound seductive but to me she came across as
extremely irritating and silly; like a little girl in high heels and
make-up trying to be woman.

She winked and walked away, swaying her hips and bit too
much, I sighed and shook my head. She was beautiful and I
should be mesmerised at this but I wasn’t; was there something
wrong with me?

BPOV
I was lying on my bed, yes I had a bed but I’m not going to get
into that now, I sleep sometimes ok? Anyway, I was thinking, in
a few hours I was going to be introduced as the “Princess of
Volturi” I wouldn’t admit it to anyone but I was scared. I don’t
know why; I was the strongest vampire in the world, and a born
vampire at that! I was destined for this life…with no way out.

I had blue lapis lazuli eyes, the only vampire without gold or red
eyes; which makes me special, right?

There was a knock on my door. “Come in,” I said without

looking at the door, I done a quick mind scan and found that it
was my father.

“Hello angel, how are you feeling?” I know what you must
think, the leader of Volturi is calling his daughter angel but he’s
not really that bad and I love him; he’s my dad. So what you
drinks human blood? I don’t mind…well, I try not to mind
anyway. He sat on one of the sides on the bed, looking down at
me.

“I’m ok, Daddy,” I smiled at him and gave him a kiss on the
cheek.

“Good. Now, remember you mustn’t come out onto the stage
until I call out your name ok?” He waited for an answer, when I
nodded he continued. “Everyone will be there, so I am just
warning you but no one will try to do anything.”

“What? Like try to kill me?” I gave a short laugh.

“Well, my darling if anyone tried that they would instantly be

sentenced to death,” Aro had a smile on his face; it was nice and
I was glad that I was the cause of it… ever since Mother left
Daddy was very brief with everyone but me...but he still kept his
distance from me, not wanting me to see how much he was in
pain I guess.
“I love you Daddy,” I said placing another kiss on his cheek.

“Thank you, sweetheart. Do you know what to do?” He said

standing up.
“Yes,” I said, this would be a piece of cake. Sadly I can’t eat
cake anymore.

“Good, I will see you downstairs,” he kissed me on the forehead

and left the room quietly.

EPOV

We were now in the hall where we were to wait for Aro, Caius
and Marcus. A lot of covens had come here, all carrying present
for the Princess. Tanya was stuck to me like glue.

“Eddie,” she whispered, slowly running her hand down from my

chest to above my groin. She smiled, as she left her hand there.

“Tanya,” I said holding her hand in a death grip which would

have crushed a human. “Please, behave yourself; we’re going to
meet the Volturi.” I looked above her head and met the eyes of
my favourite sister, Alice.

Are you ok? Do you want me to distract her or something? I

looked towards the ceiling and back to the floor, a sign for a nod
without anyone becoming suspicious.

“Hi Tanya,” Alice came in between her and me; she slowly took
her by the arm and started to talk about something. I was forever
in debt to my sister.

Aro and his brothers came out soon and took their seats,
“Welcome everyone, I am so grateful everyone could make it. It
has been so long since I saw some of you and I think this is a
good way to be reunited – all of us!” He sounded so joyous; it
was so irritating. “I wanted you all to be introduced to the
Princess, Isabella Volturi,” he turned his head slightly to the side
so he was staring at the stairs that led down to the stage.
Everyone was staring there too, curious.

The doorway at the top of the staircase was filled with a

feminine frame. She was wearing a dark cloak like all the other
people in the Volturi, her head was hooded so you couldn’t see
her face.

She walked down the steps with utter grace. She came to the end
of the steps, stepped onto the platform of the stage and stood
next to Aro. “Darling, take your cloak off so everyone can see
you,” did Aro just call her darling? Aro? The evilest creature in
the planet.

Isabella took off her cloak and handed it to Heidi who was
standing behind her. Wow! She was absolutely beautiful! I
swallowed the sudden lump in my throat, I…I…could see her;
like a meteor shooting through the sky, bringing me beauty and
brilliancy; Isabella was my meteor! Can I hope that she won’t be
like her Master? Do I even care? No, not really.

She has chocolate brunette hair with some natural red strands
(probably from the sun), she wore a striking red dress which
emphasised her curves, she looked so good in it, like it was
made for her. On her feet she wore red heels (I’m a guy, I don’t
know the name of shoes; ask Alice, she probably does) it made
her look taller but not at all superficial, it emphasised her long
legs; I couldn’t take my eyes off her.

I could hear everyone’s thoughts on her

Oh my god, she’s so beautiful, huh she doesn’t have red eyes.

Someone I don’t know thought.
Wow! Edward’s looking at her too, ah! Maybe they could end
up together... I zoned out of Esme’s thoughts.

She’s as beautiful as me! She better appreciate that, coz I don’t

normally compliment people like that! That’s a first, I thought
dryly. Rosalie never compliments anyone especially when she’s
comparing herself to someone else.

Eww, why is Edward staring at her like that? She’s not even
pretty; I’m much more prettier than her! God! Edward’s mine!
She better not even think about laying a finger on him. I don’t
share well – well, actually, I don’t share! I quickly got out of
Tanya’s mind; she was starting to really aggravate my nerves.

Isabella moved. She turned her body to face the audience and
smiled. It wasn’t the type of evil smile that people made when
they knew they had more power over you but the sincere smile a
new girl would give when she started a new school. Everything
about her was sincere. God! She was great! (Great being a
boring, insignificant word! Urgh!) She was amazing, everything
about her was just amazing!

“Isabella would you like to say anything?” Aro asked her.

“Yes actually,” she looked at us and spoke, “My name is Bella,

not Isabella,” she smiled apologetically. Bella, it suits her more,
Isabella suited her, but Bella seemed more her. Aro smiled at
this.

“Ok, Bella would you like to take a –” Aro was interrupted by

the opening of the door; it was Giana.

“What is it? We’re in the middle of something, can’t you see?”

Caius hissed at her which made her flinch back a bit.
“Brother,” Aro held him down with one hand, “What is it
Giana?” He spoke softly as if not to scare her anymore than she
was.

“Well, there’s someone here to see you, can they come in?” She
asked in a loud voice as if she was not at all affected by what
had just happened.

“I’m kind of in the middle of something, Giana,” Aro

responded, for the first time he looked tired.

“I know, I’m sorry but they want to come in now,” she looked
apologetic; I guess she didn’t want the one person who can
make her a vampire to be under distress.

“Go on,” he said as he let out a quiet sigh.

A woman entered behind Giana. She wore a vibrant blue dress

and with matching high heeled shoes. She was beautiful but not
as beautiful as Isabella – I mean Bella, like Bella. She was very
elegant and obviously from my sister’s thoughts very stylish.

“Hello Aro,” she spoke, walking towards the stage.

“Iliana,” Aro looked shocked, so did his brothers.

“Mother!” Bella shouted with joy? She suddenly disappeared

from the stage and appeared in front of Iliana. She wrapped her
arms around her and held on as if for dear life.

“Oh darling, how I missed you!” Iliana tightened her own arms
around Bella and dug her face into her hair.

“Me too!” Bella said, I could hear the tears in her voice; it
tugged at my heart; if I still had one now that I am a vampire.

BPOV
Oh, how I missed her! My heart ached and I was mentally
crying. I was so glad vampires couldn’t cry; I used to be able to
cry, when I was a human, but on my 17th birthday I turned into a
vampire (without the pain but with black emptiness) I lost all
my humanness e.g. my clumsiness, and my plain features, thank
God! I was now very beautiful if I do say myself; I was graceful
as a vampire should be! Ha ha! I’m normal for once in my
unbelievably unnatural life!

I loosened my grip on my mother and stepped away from her so

I could see her face. She was beautiful, much more than any
other vampire I had ever seen. Although I had blue lapis lazuli
eyes, my mother did not, she had green; it was beautiful, it was
the same ones she had when she was human that’s why I had
different eye colour as a vampire; I had gotten it from her. My
human eyes were brown, plain, common and very boring! I was
told that every human had blue eyes when they were born, I had
lapis lazuli blue so in theory that was the reason for having it
now; I was reborn? Is that what you call waking up a vampire? I
don’t know.

“Isabella, you look absolutely beautiful in my dress,” she

winked at me. My eyes widened; her dress? “Do you like it?”

“Yes, it’s nice, thank you,” I said with sincerity.

“It’s nice! That dress is very old and would be very expensive
now; you do not do it enough justice!” My mother reprimanded
me.

“Oh right(!) Sorry mother(!)” I rolled my eyes at her words.

“Don’t use that sarcastic tone with me young lady!” My mother

eyebrows furrowed. I could hear some people laughing, oops; I
had forgotten we had an audience.
“Sorry,” I said, trying not to sound sarcastic again.

“Iliana,” my father addressed her, “What on God’s name are you

doing here?!”

“On God’s name? Seriously Aro, Can you actually say that
since you kill humans every single day, or is killing not a sin
anymore(?)” I could hear the sarcasm in my mother’s voice.

“Iliana, you tell your daughter off for using sarcasm but yet you
use it too, that’s not being a good role model now is it(?) He
said bitterly, although I knew that was not what he was feeling;
he loved mom, probably still does, but he’s not going to admit
it.

“I’m sorry, did you just say ‘your daughter’? When she has
suddenly somehow improved her powers or gotten some new
one you call her your daughter but when she is doing something
you obviously don’t like she suddenly becomes my daughter?”

“Yes, exactly, she is nothing like me at all! She doesn’t drink

human blood! Your daughter drinks animal blood because she
doesn’t want to hurt the humans! Urgh! Like mother like
daughter!

“And I am GLAD! I’m glad she’s nothing like you! I’m glad
she doesn’t drink human blood so that meant that she stood up
to you! The great Aro of the Volturi! Yet his daughter said ‘no’
to him!-” My mother flung the words she said to my father but
got interrupted by him.

“Don’t! Don’t even go there!” My father snarled.

“Parents! Please, can we continue our family affairs later, we do

have guests you know,” I said exasperatedly.

“Which you had to disturb!” Aro glared at my mother.

“Oh, do shut up!” Iliana rolled her eyes and shook her head as if
she was dealing with a small child. She looked over at me,
“Sorry sweetheart,” she looked back at father, “We’ll continue
this later.”

“Great(!)”.

“No! You started this so we are going to finish it!”

“Mother!”

“Sorry, I’m sorry, finished now,” she sighed and smiled at me.
“Really, finished.”

“Ok, good, now can we get back to this? I don’t think our
audience liked to be ignored,” I smiled in their direction.

“You’re quite right, so Bella why don’t you get back on the
stage and everyone can give you the presents they brought?”
Aro said, in a calm and controlled voice.

“Presents? Really dad?! I thought you knew me better than that!

You could have listened-”.

“But I didn’t, now get up here!” My father interrupted me.

I rolled my eyes but walked up the steps. The crowd had formed
a line to the stage and by one coven at a time they had been
introduce to me and given me their presents. My mother sat next
to me; Aro had a problem with that but had surprisingly let it go.

There were two more clans left and my ass was numb from all
the sitting. They came together onto the stage, there was a
strawberry blonde holding a strangely reddish bronze haired
beautiful man. His face looked strained, somehow older but still
inhumanly beautiful. There was also a pixie-like one, with a tall
blonde male; there was also a breathtaking female blonde with a
bulky curly haired male. I waited until they had crossed the
space between us and my father had introduced us.

“Ok, Bella, I want you to meet the Cullens and Denalis.” My

dad’s voice introduced me.
The pixie-like black haired girl bounced her way to me, “Hi, I’m
Alice!” And with that she jumped on me, her arms snaked their
way around my waist, I stiffened…oh, she was hugging me. I
slowly put my arms around her and patted her back awkwardly.
“Sorry, we’re going to be great friends, I know it!” Her golden
eyes were widened until they looked almost child-like. I turned
my head to stare at my father, I arched my eyebrow.

He shrugged and said, “She’s physic.”

“You’re physic?!”

“Yeah,” she smiled.

“Wow! That’s so cool!” I widen my eyes in interest.

My mother coughed, I turned to look at her, “Not very princess

like sweetie, your voice was a tad too high for royalty,” she
lectured.

“Sorry Mom.”

“Here’s your present! I sure you’ll like it,” Alice bounced up

and down while giving me her present. I opened the wrapping it
was… a purse. “It’s a Gucci purse, surprise!”

“Wow, um thanks Alice,” I said awkwardly.

She frowned, “Don’t you like it?” She put one hand on her hip
and pouted.
“No, I love it, really I do.” I said, not wanting to upset to her.

“No you don’t, it says it all in your face, you’re a terrible liar.”
She said in a matter of fact kind of way.

“No, I’m not!”

“Yes, sweetheart, you are,” my father put in, my mother was
nodding along.

“Hph.”

“Thank you Alice, it’s the thought that counts,” I smiled at her.

“If you don’t want it, can I have it?” My mother asked me.

“Do you mind?” I said, looking at Alice.

“It’s yours to do with whatever you wish, why would I mind?”

She asked baffled.

“Because you gave it to me, and probably spent some time

thinking about what to get me. And now I’m going to hand it
over to my mother because I don’t really know much about
fashion?”

“No, its ok, I guess it will be better off with someone who
knows what its worth,” Alice shook her head sadly.

“I’m sorry,” and I meant it, I didn’t know her, but I already felt
like she was really close to me.

“It’s fine Bella! I’m not upset, see I’m smiling!” She laughed
and I smiled.

“Hello, I’m Edward,” the reddish bronze haired beautiful male

said. He held out his hand.
“Hello, I’m Bella,” I slid my hand into his, it was warm.

“Yes, I know,” he smiled crookedly. I loved that! There was

shock that suddenly came through my finger tips and up my
arm, I jerked my hand back, and at the same time as him?

“What was that? Is that your power?” I asked; my eyes wide

with anxiety.

“No, not at all, my power is mind-reading, but I felt that too, and
I was going to ask you the same questions,” his eyebrows
furrowed.

“Mind-reading?!” OMG, OMG, Oh, my God!! I said I loved his

smile, oh great, shit, he can hear me!

“Don’t worry, for some reason I cant read your mind,” his
eyebrows came together again.

“Oh, that’s good!” I sighed in relief. Phew! Close shave!

“For you maybe, not so much for me,” he smiled crookedly at

me again! God! If I wasn’t a vampire I would faint, like in one
of those black and white films with the damsel in distress and
their knight in shining armour, well vampire in shining armour
in my case.

I tilt my head to the side, “Why not for you?” I asked, suddenly
curious. From the corner of my eye I could see the blonde next
to him getting impatient. “Sorry, you have to go; I don’t know
why I’m feeling so curious today.” I gave him an apologetic
smile.

“Maybe that’s because your father doesn’t let you talk to anyone
else.” Iliana said hinting at something.
My father scoffed, “I let her talk to people, Heidi, Demetri,
Felix-”

My mother rolled her eyes, “Yeah, people you have control

over, not people she doesn’t know, how do you think she can
develop her social skills. Do you want our daughter become
bitter and unsocial able, and-”
“Basically become Miss Havisham in Great Expectations?”

“Yes, exactly!” My mother said.

“What’s that?” Aro asked impatiently.

“It’s a book,” Edward answered. “Miss Havisham is a vengeful

kind of person, she wears a wedding dress everyday of her life,
she adopted a girl, Estella, she raises her and uses her as a
weapon to get her revenge on men because of what her fiancée,
almost husband done to her.”

“You read it?” I asked, absolutely shocked, beautiful men do not

read books. I saw it, when I went by a school while hunting;
beautiful men go after girls like the blonde one on his arm,
that’s right, probably the only thing right about him. People like
me do not get people like him; our leagues do not touch, I’m not
blonde. I sighed mentally.

“Of course I read it, what do think I am, it’s a classic,” he saw
the sudden change in my face and then asked, “What’s wrong?”

“Nothing,” I shrugged, he wouldn’t want to know, he wouldn’t

care.

“Urgh!” I was thrown back by his sudden reaction, he looked at

me, “I’m sorry but you don’t know how frustrating it is to not be
able to read your thoughts. I can’t tell what upset you,” he
creased his eyebrows and sighed.
“It’s nothing,”

“Just give her the damned present Edward!” Tanya growled at

him. He turned to glare at her, his eyes gone black.

“I apologise for her rudeness,” he looked back at me with

sincerity in his now golden eyes.
“It’s ok,” I shrugged.

He smiled at me as his arms reached into his trouser pocket and

got out a red velvet box. I furrowed my eyebrows as I cautiously
held out my hand. Instead of dropping the box into my hand he
slowly put it into my hand brushing my palm as he took his arm
back. “I hope you like it,” he gazed into my eyes; it took all my
vampire strength not to just close the distance between us and
press my lips onto his – it wouldn’t be hard.

Why? Why did he have to get me a present for?! Him being here
was enough, no it wasn’t, us being together would be though but
I think that would be asking for too much won’t it? Like I said
before he’s better than me and … I mentally sighed.

“Thank you,” I said before opening it. It came apart with a snap;
I almost thought I broke it but after a second I realized it was
supposed to be like that. Phew! It was beautiful, absolutely
beautiful…oh my god! I love it! No! This wasn’t supposed to
happen! Urgh! I’m not supposed to like it-love it! I realized I
loved it because it was from Edward…wow! I must be really
pathetic! But it was lovely! I should keep it, it was a present and
you can’t give back presents right?

“What do you think Bella?” he cocked his head to one side as if

studying a piece of art work. He was studying me! Huh, I didn’t
exactly know how to feel about that.

“It’s beautiful Edward, really beautiful,” I said honestly looking

into his eyes.
He let out a sigh of relief, “I thought you wouldn’t like it,
because of the bag that Alice gave you,” he smiled sheepishly.
He took the necklace out of my hand and unclasped the lock,
“May I?” he asked holding it up asking my permission to clasp
the necklace around my neck; he was so sweet!

I nodded. He wrapped his arms around me; I could almost

imagine him closer so that he was hugging me. I suppressed a
sigh; what I would give to have him closer; he smelt so good
too! Ugh! I’m going to drive myself mad with my thoughts! I
heard the faint click of the necklace coming together. He
carefully pulled my hair out of the necklace and fixed it so it
went around the sides of my neck.

He let go and smiled, “Thank you,” I said and swallowed the

lump in my throat.

“Here’s my present! Come on Eddie, let’s go!” she flung the

present onto my lap and tugged on ‘Eddie’s’ hand, she leaned
towards his ear and whispered, “The sooner we get out of here
the sooner we can have the house to ourselves,” she winked.

I felt like puking. A woman with caramel hair came forward,

she looked like snow white. “Iliana, it’s been so long,” she took
a step toward my mother and gave her a hug; my mother had her
arms opened as well. The blonde man came forward to give her
a hug too. What the hell? Who were they?

My mother must have seen the look in my face because she

turned to face me, “Bella, sweetie, this is Carlisle and Esme
Cullen, Edward’s parents,” she smirked at me. “We’ve been
friends for a long time-”

“You what?!” My father’s voice boomed. “How could you not

tell me you knew the Cullens?!”
“Maybe because I knew how you’d react?” My mother
suggested.

Aro gave out a low growl.

“See? God! You’re so annoying!”

“Mom, you promised,” I said staring at her.

“Sorry, I mean it, it was the last time!” She smiled at me

innocently.

I sighed and rolled my eyes.

EPOV

She was so amazing! How could someone be so perfect and not

even know it? Most people who had power especially as a
princess would be a snob but she’s nothing like that, at all.
When she smiles she brightens up the whole place and all I
could think about is how much I wanted to crush her to me, hold
her so tight so no one can hurt her like Tanya. I have to find a
way to get rid of her.

She loved my present I could tell but why didn’t she want to
accept it? Most girls would have squealed and found a way to
touch me or something but with Bella its like I wanted her to do
that and she didn’t! I sighed.

She must have heard my sigh because her head snapped up to

see why. I smiled at her, at her concern, God, She was a dream
come true!

Everyone finished giving their presents and Iliana invited us to

stay a while after the party. We were sitting in the living room
when Bella’s parents started arguing again.
“Shut up Aro! I can do whatever I want and you can’t stop me!
She’s my daughter too so I think…I think I can take her home!”
Iliana screamed at him.

“She is not living with your parents! They’ll corrupt her!” Aro
flung at her.

“I don’t live with my parents,” she pouted.

“You might not spend your nights there but you do spend every
other hour there! So you are practically living there!”

“I don’t want her to live with you!”

“I don’t want her to live with you!”

“MOM! DAD!” Bella silenced their quarrel and they both

apologised quickly. The rest of us were watching them like a
family soap.

“She’s not going with you,” Aro said his normal voice.

“Yeah, you said but I don’t want her to live with you either.
You’ll corrupt her mind.”

“So what shall we do?” Aro asked.

“I can stay by myself you know, I’m an adult now!” Bella

snapped. Her parents ignored her and carried on their
conversation.

Iliana’s eyebrows creased, “She could stay with…the…the

Cullens?”

“What?!” What? Aro’s eyes went from milky red to deep red, if
that was possible.
“If that’s ok with you Carlisle, Esme?” Iliana’s eyes hopeful.

Esme looked at me and with a smile she said, “Of course, what
are friends for?”

“Great! Bella can pack her bags and leave with you tomorrow!”
Iliana sang with joy and gave me a quick smile. Did she know?

Stay tuned for Bella’s stay with the Cullens!
