ACTH (EU GMP)
Adrenocorticotropic hormone (Corticotrophin). Its principal effects are increased production and
release of corticosteroids, commonly used in treatment of Primary Adrenal Insufficiency
(Addison's Disease)

BIVALIRUDIN (EU GMP)

Reversible direct thrombin inhibitor.
It is used as an anticoagulant in patients with unstable angina undergoing percutaneous
transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA). It is also used with glycoprotein IIb/IIa inhibitor (GPI)
in patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention.
Bivalirudin clinical studies demonstrated consistent positive outcomes in patients with stable
angina, unstable angina (UA), non-ST segment elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI), and STsegment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI).

BUSERELIN (EU GMP)

Buserelin is a GnRH analogue used in the treatment of hormone dependant Prostate Cancer &
Endometriosis.

Calcitonin (thyrocalcitonin) is a 32 amino acid linear polypeptide hormone produced in humans. It

is used in the treatment Postmenopausal osteoporosis, Hypercalcaemia, Paget's disease, Bone
metastases, Phantom limb pain

CARBETOCIN (EU GMP)

Carbetocin, is an obstetric drug used to control postpartum haemorrhage bleeding after giving
birth. It is an analogue of Oxytocin.

CETRORELIX (EU GMP)

Cetrorelix, is a synthetic decapeptide. It is used to treat hormone-sensitive cancers of the
prostate and breast (in pre-perimenopausal women) and some benign gynaecological disorders.

DESMOPRESSIN (EU GMP, DMF, CEP/COS)

Desmopressin is a synthetic replacement for vasopressin. It is used in the treatment of Nocturnal
Enuresis (Bed Wetting) in children and adults and in the treatment of Diabetes Inspidus.

GLATIRAMER (EU GMP)

Glatiramer, is an immunomodulator used in the treatment of Multiple Sclerosis.

GOSERELIN (EU GMP)

Goserelin, is known as a Luteinizing Hormone Releasing Hormone (LHRH) agonist. Goserelin
acetate is used to suppress production of the hormones like testosterone and estrogen,
particularly in the treatment of breast and prostate cancer.

LEUPROLIDE (EU GMP, CEP/COS, DMF)

Leuprolide, is a GnRH analogue used in the treatment of Prostatic cancer, Breast cancer,
Endometriosis, Precocious puberty and other related conditions.

Linaclotide, is a guanylate cyclise-C agonist and is used in adults in the treatment of Irritable
Bowel Syndrome with Chronic Constipation.

Octreotide, is used in the treatment of severe watery diarrhoea associated with certain types of
tumours. Also used to reduce excessive amounts of Growth Hormones
