5.RAID3isusefulonlyinenvironmentswheredataaccesswillbeinlarge,sequential
blocks;soweexcludeithere.RAID5istheonlysolutionthatwillnotrequire
purchasingofextradisks.Astheproportionofwritesdoesnotexceed25%,RAID5
shouldperformreasonablywell.

WerecommendreconfiguringthediskswithRAID5set.
Advantages:Lowcostdataprotection
Disadvantages:Highoverheadduetorebuiltoperationifadiskfails.
