Univers is based on 1898s Akzidenz-Grotesk, and
Adrian Frutiger began work on Univers in 1954,
completing his design in 1957. The Univers type
family has grown to 44 different weights and
styles, some of which include Cyrillic characters.

Area of Isolation

For the DataWave Logo, and Signature.


The protected area around the logo, word mark or signature is
called the area of isolation. No graphic elements, titles, text, background color changes or other design elements may occur in this
protected space. The area of isolation is defined as an area equal
to 1/2 the height of the logo and extending out on all four sides
of the logo. In the example to the right, X equals the height of the
logo, and 1/2 X on each side is considered the area of isolation.

should only be reproduced from master artwork fromthe
disk provided. The DataWave logotype must always be
reproduced with the TM symbol

This is for informational purposes only, as the logotype
should NEVER be re-typeset. You should only use the

Colors

The logo should only appear in colors specified below.


Graphic devices, such as outlines, drop shadows, etc., should/should not
be used. The logo is designed to work on a white, solid color background.
In the case of black and white printing or a nonspecified background
color, logo should appear in solid black or reversed out white.
The preferred method of reproducing the DataWave logo includes 3-color printing using
Pantone process blue and black. These colors make up our primary color palette and
should be used whenever possible across all printed materials
