PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE GOALS

Giving consideration to your course work and your expectations of this professional
experience, state the objectives to which you intend to give highest priority in this
teaching practice session.

For this placement I will work


closely with my associate
teacher to see how to construct
then implement an interesting
and diverse lesson plan. Once I
have understood and seen this
in action I hope to take the next
step and enact this myself. I will
then take onboard feedback for
improvement.

To achieve this goal I will work


closely with my associate
teacher to understand the
learning level of the students,
which fall into higher and lower
levels of achievement. I will
then try to cater enough work
of a challenging nature for the
higher achievers while tailoring
work to scaffold those on the
lower end of the spectrum.

Keeping a class engaged is not
going to be possible at all
times. I will work closely with
my associate teacher in the first
week to get comfortable with
the classroom environment and
to monitor how my teacher
keeps the class engaged with
learning. I will from the outset
create guidelines of what I
expect of the students and
apply this consistently to the
students.
