Introduction
By nature Uncle Bugs loves children. Like any other caring father he reads bedtime stories to his
2 daughters. He has been doing that for a few years, but soon he realized that he has been
reading too much western fairy tales. He thought it would be also nice to give them some variety
of flavors including local Malaysian tales.
It is also Uncle Bugs wished to let his daughters learn about the local animals and culture this
country is blessed with. He went seeking for this kind of books. But to his dismay he couldnt find
any tales other than the classic Sang Kancil. Stores after stores he seek but in no avail.
Out of the needs for such material, Uncle Bugs decided to create his own books. Thus giving birth
to this set of fairy tales. He has written 6 stories. Even though the title are in Malay but the stories
is written in English. The names of the characters are all Malaysian.

books have became their favorites. The demand is so high that they wanted him to read for them
every night. Nights after nights Uncle Bugs would read the same stories over and over again to
the amusement and entertainment of his 2 daughters.
