pm, Monday thru Friday. Must be proficient in
Microsoft, Word and Excel. Responsible for helping
families register in the program, answer telephones,
schedule appointments, and help maintain information
given to Catechists. Good communication skills and
bilingual also important.

August is a busy time at

St. Joseph School!

Agosto es un tiempo muy ocupado en la

escuela San Jos!

What do you get when you mix cars, water, and students?
Yes, carwash was the correct answer! Earlier this month our
many athletes gathered at Discount Tires to raise funds for our
athletic department. Mark your calendars for September 10th
and bring your dirty car to their next event.
August 15th through the 18th, the teachers gathered daily
for professional development activities. We spent time
working on new teaching techniques. Two of the teachers
planned a team building event that was also incorporated into
our parent evening. Teams worked together to flip cups using
a special tool created out of a rubber band and string.
Participants learned how to use various strategies, problemsolve, communicate, and encourage each other.
Our first day of school was on the 19th. Students gathered
in the gym to begin the day with worship songs and the
pledge. Afterwards they headed off to their homerooms for a
day filled with organizing supplies, teamwork, and other
interactive high energy lessons.

principios de este mes muchos de nuestros atletas se reunieron
en el Discount Tires para recaudar fondos para nuestro

Entre el 15 al 18 de Agosto, los maestros se reunieron

Pasamos tiempo trabajando en nuevas tcnicas de enseanza.
Dos de los maestros planearon un evento de formacin de
equipos que se incorporaron en nuestra noche de padres.
Equipos trabajaron juntos para dar vuelta a tazas con una
herramienta especial creada de ligas y cuerda. Los
participantes aprendieron a utilizar diversas estrategias,
resolver problemas, comunicarse, y animarse los unos a los
otros.
Nuestro primer dia de clases fue el 19 de Agosto. Los
estudiantes se reunieron en el gimnasio para comenzar el dia
con canciones de alabanzas y el juramento a la bandera. Ellos
se dirigieron a sus salones para un dia lleno de organizacin,
trabajo en equipo, y otras clases interactivos de alta energa.
