Bullwhip effect is a terminology that describes the
variability of the demand occuring in industries. One of the industries that could be affected by it is automotive industry. PT Astra Daihatsu Motor is one of the car manufacturers and supplies parts for Daihatsus cars. PT Astra Daihatsu Motor supply chain network consists of suppliers, central warehouse, distributor, and retail. The real demand information that is classified by the company caused the rate of bullwhip effect in supply chain network getting higher. This final project will be modelling and simulating the condition of two echelons of supply chain (retails and central warehouse) and an alternative scenario will be set as a setting parameter that minimizes the total costs and increases the customer service level in those two echelons. The result obtained in this final project are EOQ parameters and minimum stock (s) with the consolidation of those two echelons.
