Meeting started

Starting next week, each area/ward will be given stocks of dangerous drugs
(Nubain, Diazepam, Phenobarbital,morphine) with monitoring sheet and S2
number to be filled-up .
Once stock is consumed, monitoring sheet must be submitted to pharmacy for
replenishment.
Dangerous drugs must be charged separately in webex.
Requested dangerous drugs must be signed by AP with their S2#. If not available,
Dr Cornel or Dra.Cornel S2 licensed number can be used.
Not terafusion but Regular macroset must be used all the time for OB patients. .
Nutritional products/vitamins are advised to be purchased outside, especially if
patient is under HMO. Inform patients/relatives that these products are not
covered by their HMO.

4:15 pm

For OR patient (elective): Day before OR procedure, OR staff is advised to make

rounds. Patients chart must be checked by the staff on duty.- if patients consent
for procedure was secured? CP cleared? red tag? with HMO? or payment deposit
was made? etc.
Everyone should establish rapport with patients. Orient them with hospital
policies especially upon admission.
Discharge instructions must be given clearly.
If possible, ask all patients who are for discharge to answer our evaluation /survey
form.
Maintain cleanliness in each respective area. Night duty shift nurses must be
responsible in cleaning refrigerator, minor instruments, and other stocks at the end
of every month.
Rooms without patient should be cleaned and locked at all times. Rooms for
maintenance must be reported immediately to sir Asia or other maintenance
personnel and document.

Request for small container (not glass) for hydrogen peroxide.

Everyone should not forget to write side notes in patients chart. Admission
number must be written at lower right portion of the chart/additional forms.
For I & O, use decimal points in hourly monitoring. If per shift, can be round off
by ones not tens.

In every use of IV300 Opsite, there is 3.00php rebate per wrapper.

Room reservation of 3-4 hours is allowed by the hospital. If patient will not arrive
within the given time period. It will be given to other patient.
Laboratory: Inform laboratory if theres still wrong entry of data. Reprint results
if needed. Note for patient name and inform Maam Shella/Maam Jen.
For senior citizen program patients. NOD must orient them properly with
covered/not covered charges of Philhealth. (case to case basis depending on final
diagnosis.)
