keypadtorealizefunctions.Sinceitsconvenientoperations,fashionable
performance, desktopseated design, lightweight and flexibility, it is

2.EnrollmentandIdentification
For the first time to use the device, no administrator at this moment,
press the function key to enroll the administrator and users. Only one
administratorcanbeenrolledinthesystem,thenumberis8888.Firstly
enrolling the administrator is recommended. If the administrator is
enrolled in the device,onlyuserscanbeenrolled.
If thereisnoadministrator,userscanbeenrolledbyanyone.Ifthere
is an enrolled administrator, users cant be enrolled until passing the
administration identification.
Three enrollment modes of fingerprint, password, Mifare card are
applied to three people groups with different fingerprint quality
individually.Fingerprintenrollmentisappliedtothepeoplegroupwith
good fingerprintquality,and mostpeopleareinthisgroup.Fingerprint
enrollment as well as password enrollment is applied to the people
groupwhocanenrolleasilybutauthenticatedifficultly,andasmallpart
ofpeopleareinthisgroup.Passwordenrollmentisappliedtothepeople
groupwhocantenrollfingerprintssuccessfully,andabout1%ofpeople
areinthisgroup,maybealittlechangeinthe actualuse.
Before enrolling users, if there is an enrolled administrator, you
must authenticate the administrator status, Firstly press Enroll key,
then the device displays Administrator affirm, at last press the
fingerprintorpasswordofadministratortoauthenticate.
Note: if no administrator is enrolled, you dont need the administrator
authentication.

Create PINCard: Create the number card of enrolled user in the

fingerprintmachine.Usercanuse card tocheckattendance anddoesnt
needtopressthefingerprint.
EnrollFPCard:Storetheenrolledfingerprintintothecard,atthistime
thefingerprintissavedintothecarddirectlybutnotsavedinthedevice.
Users can use Card+Fingerprint to authenticate the status, that is,
firstlyshowthecardandthenpressthefingerprint.
CreateFPCard:Copytheenrolledfingerprint(fingerprintindevice)to
thecard.Usercanusethefingerprinttoauthenticatethestatusandcan
also use Card+Fingerprint to authenticate thestatus.
Reg FPCard: Before using the fingerprint card of one fingerprint
machine in another fingerprint machine, you must register the
fingerprintcard in thismachine.
UnregFPCard:Inordertoforbidthecardtobeusedinsomemachine,
you shouldunregisterthefingerprintcard inthismachine.
Empty FPCard: Empty all information (fingerprint, number) in the

fingerprintcard.
Dup FPCard: Copy the fingerprint in card into fingerprint machine.
Aftercopying,youcanusethefingerprintto authenticate.
MoveToFPCard:Movethefingerprintinfingerprintmachineintothe
fingerprint card, then the fingerprint is only saved in card and not in
fingerprintmachineanymore.
Cardonly:IfselectYes here,youcanpasstheauthenticationbyonly
authenticating the number card. If select No here, you still need to
authenticatethefingerprintafterauthenticatingthecard.
Note: Mifare card is the optional function. If the Mifare card
functioniswanted,pleaseconsultourcommercialrepresentativesor
presale technicians. If more information is wanted, please refer to
<<UserGuideof Mifare card>>.

2.5Deleteauser
Deletethe enrolledusersinsystem.
In the original window, press Del Userkey to pop up the following
window.In UserIDcolumn,inputthe numberthatyou wanttodelete,
thenpressOK keytodeleteitfromthedevice.

2.6 Authenticationsoffingerprint,passwordandcard.
Users can save attendance records in machine through fingerprint or
password authentications.
Fingerprintattendance
(1) 1:1fingerprintverification (ID+fingerprint)
Verifythecurrent fingerprint pressed onsensorwiththecorresponding
IDnumberofuserinputtedbykeypad
Step1:inputtheuserIDthatyouwanttoverifyinoriginalwindow.
Step2:pressthefingerprinton the sensorcorrectly.
Step3: if deviceinforms thanks,it meansasuccessfulenrollment. If
deviceinformspleasetry again,returntostep1toreoperate.
(2)1:Nfingerprintidentification
Identifythepressedfingerprintwithallfingerprintsindevice.
Step1:pressthefingerprinton the sensorcorrectly.
Step2:ifdeviceinformsThanks,itmeansasuccessfulidentification.
If device informs please try again, return to step 1 to
reoperate.
Passwordattendance
Step 1: input the ID number of user you want to verify in original
windowandpressOK key.
Step2:inputthepassword.
Step3:ifdeviceinformsthanks,itmeansasuccessfulverification.If
deviceinformserrorpassword,returntostep1toreoperate.
Mifare cardattendance

If use Create PINCard to enroll the Mifare card, firstly press
PW/Card key to enter into Menu, secondly select FPCard Mng and
press OK key, thirdly select the Card Only item. There are two
situationshere.
(1)IfselectY in Card Only item:
Intheoriginalwindow,placethenumbercardoverthesensorarea(the
distanceshouldbe short,otherwisesystemcantsense thecard).Display

3.1TimeSetting

3.2LanguageSetting
In the original window, press 5digital key for four times, and then

3.3PowerManagement
The device is equipped with power with USB connector and backup
battery.WhenusepoweradapterwithUSBconnectortosupplypower,
the backup battery is charged at the same time and the charging time
shouldnt be less than 8 hours. Whenthepower is off or unable tobe
poweredbypowerwithUSBconnector,thedevicewillbepoweredby
backup battery automatically and the saturated backup battery can
supplypowertodevicefor3hours.
There is an electricity icon
at the upright corner of LCD,
which is convenient for users to view the status and the electricity of
backupbattery.Whenthedeviceisonlypoweredbythebackupbattery,
theiconindicatesthebatteryelectricitywhenthedeviceusesthepower
adapterandthebackupbatteryatthesametime,theiconindicatesthe
charging status and electricity of backup battery when the device is
poweredbythepoweradapter,noiconisdisplayed.
Whenthebatteryelectricityisdisplayedas0grid,thebatteryicon
flashesandthebuzzerwillbuzztoalarmperasecondforfiveminutes.

3.4 AttendanceStatus
Duringchecking attendance, if youwant tocheckin, firstly press IN
key to display CheckIN on the screen, then press fingerprint or

passwordtoauthenticate.Ifyouwanttocheckout,firstlypressOUT
key to display CheckOut on the screen, then press fingerprint or
passwordtoauthenticate.
3.5BuiltinEMcardreader(Optional)
Builtin a contactless EM card reader module, the distance of flashing
cardis510cm.itcompletelysupportsthethickcard(1.88mm),middle
card(1.05mm),andthincard(0.88mm),whoseoperatingfrequencyisat
125 KHZ, the card area as following illustration. The card area is as
followingillustration.

3.6BuiltinMIFAREcardreader(Optional)
Contain a contactless MIFARE card reader module , the distance to
detect card is 510cm, it completely supports MIFARE cards that
provide operating frequency 13.56MHZ, communication speed

3.7 Test Automatically

In the original window, press 6digital key for four times, and then
pressTimeSet keytodisplay asfollows:

fingerprint reader, Key, RTC. During testing especially flash testing,
please guarantee the stability of power, otherwise the hardware of
system maybe bedamaged.

3.8SwitchingofAlgorithmVersion
The default fingerprint algorithm version used by the device is 10.0.
Youcanselectthe9.0versionor10.0version.Thefingerprinttemplates
inthetwoalgorithmversionsarenotcompatiblewitheachother.Select
anappropriateFPversion.
Ontheinitialinterface,press2 forfourtimesandthen presstheTime
Setupkey.Thefollowingpromptinformationisdisplayed.

PresstheINandOUTkeystoswitchbetweenthe9.0versionand10.0
version.Afterthesetup,click OKtocompletethesettings.

@Note: Some of the device will be prompted to remove the user

informationandattendancedatawhenchangethealgorithm.Sowe
proposed to back up user information and attendance data before
change the algorithm. After you switch the current algorithm
version, you need to restart the device sothat the new version can
takeeffect.

4.AttendanceManagement
Thisdeviceistorecordattendancetime,andtheattendancesoftwareis
to deal with report statistics. The device can be connected with PC
directly through USB cable. The way to operation the attendance
software,pleasereferto<<ManagementSystemExplanation>>.
