with 40 cm3 of 0.14M hydrochloric acid.
(d) How many grams of sodium acetate that must be added into o.5cm3 of 0.12M acetic acid in
order to provide a buffer solution of PH = 4.46.
5. (a) Describe the modality that you will use in predicting the occurrence of precipitation when
aqueous solution are mixed.

product.
ii) The solubility product of barium sulphate in water is 10-10 mol-12dm6at 25 0c. calculate its
solubility in water and in 0.1M Na2SO4.
(c) Briefly explain Bronsted Lowry theory of acid and base by giving one example.
