CAD/CAM MANUFACTURING PROCESS :[1] CAD: Computer aided design (CAD) utilize the graphic and
mathematical processing power of the computer to help
engineer in the creation, analysis, modification and designs
outlines.

Numerous components have been added to CAD technology

becoming a vital tool in the engineering world, for example,
the PCs speed at processing complex comparisons and
managing specialised databases.
CAD combines the attributes of designer and PCs that are
best material to outline process.
The combination of human imagination with PCs innovation
provides the designs productivity that has made CAD such a
well known design tool.
However, geometrical displaying engineering, examines
simulation and the communication of the design configuration
can also be utilised using CAD. [1]

[2] CAM: Computer aided manufacturing includes the utilization of computers

to help in all periods of manufacturing a product.
It encompasses many of the advancements in the technology.

In view of their joint advantages, computer aided design and

computer aided manufacturing are often combined into CAD/CAM
frameworks.

This combination allows the exchange of data from design stage to

the phase of getting ready for production, without the need to return
the information on geometrically part manually.
CAM systems are also equipped for coding and classifying parts into
gathering that have comparable design or manufacturing attributes.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS OF CAM

INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: Programming for industrial robots and numerical control.
Designs of molds and dies for casting in which, for example
shrinkage allocation are pre-programmed.
Dies for metalwork operations, for example, complex dies for
progressive dies for stamping and sheet forming.
Process arranging and planning.

[4] SOFTWARE THAT HAS IMPACTED

CAD/CAM: ARDEN SOFTWARE (IMPACT):o DATABASE DRIVEN PACKAGING
DESIGN AND MAUFACTURING
SOFTWARE:IDENTIFICATION OF SOFTWARE:It is a world pioneer in the improvement of creative CAD, advancements in
CAM assembling, undertaking and work process administrations solutions
for the printing and packaging industry, ARDEN SOFTWARE focuses only
on delivering solutions that empowers organizations to reshape their pre
and post-production activities and help make their businesses more
innovative, efficient, productive and profitable.
ARDEN SOFTWARE recognises that powerful software alone is only part of
the solution and that a well defined execution is the other key ingredient
to a successful establishment.
ARDEN SOFTWARE develops coordinated arrangements that keep you in
control of the packaging outline and manufacturing process, from the first
sketch to final delivery.

EXPLORATION OF SOFTWARE: FEATURES AND BENEFITS: In die making industry, no other CAD/CAM application comes close
to the coordinating the reach, force and adaptability of ARDEN
SOFTWARE die making toolset, so its little wonder that its the most
preferable choice among the worlds die making community.
In designing industry, components are parametrically design and
highlight worked in intelligence, which includes the capacity to
consequently re-size when situated.

Interactive drawing toolset that upgrades convenience and boosts

efficiency.
Drag and drop design segments that decrease outline duration.
Advanced 3D displaying and animation tools for quick prototyping
and upgraded development in presentation.
Effective and powerful format and tooling outline features created
by individuals who understand die making.
Completely integrated COM interface building innovation.
Incorporates advanced editing and settling features for the
production of ejection elastic parts and is fit for controlling virtually
and purposes any type of rubber cutting technology.
Its powerful 3D highlights enable clients or users to combine both.
2D TO 3D transformation is quick and simple and ADERN
SOFTWAREs advanced innovation permits the generation of
practical 3D models. [8]
