1.0 Introduction
The Faculty of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, UTHM is in the process of gathering
responses from the practitioners in both public and private sector regarding the suitable curriculum
and teaching methods for our new graduate programme. Feedback is vital in order to enable us to
produce better graduates in the future. Therefore, we would be very much grateful if you can help us

Aligning with global trends, a priority for the government, the private sector and the
community as a whole is to transition towards a highly sustainable energy sector. In managing
such colossal change, there would be a growing need for capable individuals with postgraduate qualification in sustainable energy technologies and engineering. Therefore, this
programme is designed to provide its students with the necessary skills to tackle all aspects of
the energy sector, focusing on the efficient use of renewable resources and the reduction of
industrial impact towards the environment. The course structure balances the delivery of
fundamental knowledge, technical strategies, and real-world applications that would bring its
graduates to the forefront of sustainable energy development.
