By virtue of the powers invested in us, we issue this
PROCLAMATION
That an Annual Meeting of the Texas Society of Colonial Wars; Texas Society of the
Order of the Founders & Patriots of America; Sons of the Revolution in the State of
Texas; Texas Society of the War of 1812; Texas Branch of the Royal Society of St.
George; Captain John Clay and San Antonio Companies of the Jamestowne Society,
Texas Society Military Order of the Stars and Bars, Order of the Founders of North
America 1492-1692, Texas Division of Washingtons Army at Valley Forge, the San
Antonio Colony of the Magna Charta Dames and Barons, Robert Spenser Chapter of
the Colonial Dames of the XVII Century, Texas Society First Families of Maryland;
Texas Genealogical College, and the Huguenot Society of Texas will convene in the City
of San Antonio, Texas on the 21th through the 22th day of October in the Year of our
Lord, Two Thousand and Sixteen, at such time and place as announced for the
transaction of such business as may properly be brought before them, and calling upon
all duly accredited officers and members of these organizations to assemble to discharge
the duties of their respective Societies.

Genealogical Seminar :
Sponsored by the Texas Genealogical College - 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
You do not have to be a member of the Texas Genealogical College to attend.
Sign up for the seminar on the form enclosed. The seminar fee includes a box lunch. The
price at the door is $50.

Vendors: Tables of vendors will be displaying genealogy and history books, and

memorabilia from 8:00 a.m. on Friday Oct. 21th, through Saturday at 4:00 p.m.

Friday Hall of Fame Reception :


The Texas Genealogical College is the Sponsor for the Texas Genealogical Hall of Fame
Gala, which includes a no host reception on Friday, Oct. 21, 2016. Cocktail are from 6:00
p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Friday Gala Hall of Fame Banquet:


At the banquet those selected as members of the 2016 Texas Genealogical Hall of Fame will
be honored.
Keynote Speaker will be Dr. Jeffrey D. Addicott, Prof of Law at St Mary's University
School of Law. A retired Army Lt. Col., Prof. Addicott is a long time family historian, who
will publish his next family history book within the next few months.

The El Tropicano Riverwalk Hotel is ideally situated on a city tourist bus
stop, and there is a River Boat Taxi in front of the hotel. It is an easy walk to
the San Antonio Public Library, where the genealogical records are located
on the 6th floor.

The 2016 Annual Meeting of The Texas Hereditary Societies is approaching at
a rapid pace and in order to complete arrangements for this gala event, we

A block of rooms has been reserved @ a daily rate of $109.00 + Tax for Society
members and guests for 21 22 October 2016 (plus 3 days before and 3 days
after) . The daily room rate includes complementary parking for participants.
