DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE LEFT AND THE RIGHT HEMISPHERE

Neuroscientists have found that both the left hemisphere and the right act together in any activity we
do. It is not that in certain tasks act either hemisphere, but both have activity, in greater or lesser
extent depending on the task you're performing. Neurologists summarized in four main differences
between the two hemispheres.

1. The left hemisphere controls the right side of our body and the right hemisphere controls the left
side of it.

2. Our left hemisphere is sequential and simultaneous right. The left hemisphere is good in the
recognition sequence of events that occur one after the other in sequential behavior. Examples
include human ability to speak, understand what you hear from other individuals, reading the
right hemisphere is the one that enables us to interpret things simultaneously and relate. For
example it is the right hemisphere that gives us the keys to interpret the face of people.
3. The left hemisphere analyzes the details while the right synthesizes and shows an overall picture
of things is the right who gives us the ability to synthesize it to take several elements and put
them together to have a meaning the right hemisphere establishes relationships between

different elements. No analyzes a nose, a mouth, eyebrows, then eyes and ears then, simply
relates and synthesizes all the elements of a face and sees it as a whole.
