Annual Report
(2015-2016)

Year- 2015-16
Ksaipra Racing was formed in year 2015, We believe
INNOVATION COMES FROM NECESSITY. At the time of
inception, it was decided to participate in the event
SUPRA SAE 2016. The work done by the team is
represented in the form of a Gannt Chart.

Initially, two months were assigned for the team to know about
the hows and whats of FSAE. The team stayed back here in the
semester break and worked for the same. We took guidance
from TEAM OJAS and after completion the team headed for
next phase .
The next phase was Designing, it was expected to complete
designing in 45 days, by reviewing the design 3 times at an
interval of 15 days. First review was very smooth, the team
faced issues in second review for dynamics of the car because
of goal constraints and hence the second review period was

extended for 30 days. The third review was expected to be


after 15 days of second review but due to costing constraints
the powertrain has to change the engine and the designing
phase were extended for 90 days. Because of unaccounted
delays and financial constraints the team decided not to
participate in SUPRA SAE 2016.
Parallely, the management team were taking care of the
permissions and public relations of the team. Being the first
time the management team were not able to make a
impressive image of the team in front of the sponsors.

Why we didnt succeed?


- Lack of sponsorship.
- Lack of experience came into existence during estimating
manufacturing products

What we learned from our mistakes?


- How to approach & impress sponsors.
- Planning according to manufacturing delays.

YEAR 2016-2017
The team has decided to participate in the event SUPRA SAE
2017.
MILESTONES
- Completion of the car before Gravitas 2016.
- Testing by December 2016.
- Securing at least 5 lakhs of sponsorship in 1 st Phase i.e. up to
November 2016.

2016-17.

CONCLUSION

After facing the issues for the first time in the previous year, we
have the treasure of experiences required to make a tam
successful. Although,the goals setted by us were not achieved
but we strongly believe that the experiences gained by us are
true learning for the team. We hearty believe that now the
team has became more capable of performing than ever
before. We also believe in THE THING WHICH DOESNT
BRAKES YOU MAKES YOU STRONGER. We request you to
accept our report and allow us to participate in the upcoming
event.
