and construction norms and instructions.
3.6. Parts and assemblies (housings, runners, collectors) of the fans are manufactured using materials, which exclude
the possibility of their deformation and destruction during transportation, installation and operation.
In order to increase stiffness and strength in comparison to the general-purpose fans one should use the metal of
higher strength or the construction design elements, which increase the stiffness.
Assurance coefficient of static strength of the fans runners is defined within the range 1,3-2,0.
Runners should be tested at the rotation frequency that exceeds the rated value by 10-20 %.
3.7. In radial fans made of dissimilar materials the ring made out of nonsparking material (yellow metal,
electroconductive plastic etc.) should be installed onto the runner part of collector, which is connected to it with permanent
joint (riveting, welding, gluing etc).
The ring should jut out from the end face of the collector for the distance of the gap between runner and collector, but
not less than 3 mm.
In axial fans made of dissimilar materials the flow-through part of the housing in the runner rotation area or the ends of
the runner blades are made out of nonsparking material (yellow metal, electroconductive plastic etc).
