pipeline is mounted which goes from housing of the labyrinth seal to collector or additional grooves in the runners boss;
the blades for exhaust of the gas from the labyrinth seal are installed at the rear side of the runners back disk.
The labyrinth seal has a hole for installation of the heating temperature control device. The labyrinth seal is made of
nonsparking materials (yellow metal, bronze etc).
3.18. For intermediate shafts of the 3-rd construction design modification fans it is necessary to use only roll bearings

3.21. If the fans are stored for more than one year since the shipping from organization-manufacturer the bearings are
inspected with the lids removed and checked for greasing presence which should fill / of the bearing unit volume.
3.22. The fastening construction design of the motors and bearing housings should exclude the possibility of their
displacement in any direction.
3.23. In the construction design of the fans the devices for drawing off the static electricity is provided
3.24. When fans are built with the use of polymer materials in order to draw off static electricity the electroconductive
fillers should be added into plastic, electroconductive coatings should be applied, all parts of the fans should be earthed
etc.
3.25. The 3-rd construction design modification fans have the running contact for drawing off the static electricity from
the runners shaft using two copper graphite brushes closely fitting to the shafts surface and earthed with flexible copper
wires.
3.26. The parts made of plastic are selected during development of the engineering design documentation.
Bulging, cracks, dimples, sponginess, warping, layering of the plastic parts are not permitted.

for axial fans, should be not less than 0,01 of the runners diameter in all points of periphery of circle (appendix 2).
3.30. All threaded joints of the fans parts and assemblies should be protected against self-unfastening in the course of
operation.
3.31. Runners or outside surfaces of collectors or flanges of the fans, couplings and guard devices are painted in
signal colors in accordance with requirements of state standards.
3.32. The direction of rotation of the fans runner is indicated by arrow on the suction side of the fan housing.
If it is necessary to transport the fun non-assembled the arrows are applied on the fan housing and on the runner.

use the tools, accessories and fixtures, which exclude the possibility of spark formation.
6.16. Air ducts on the pressure side and on the suction side are connected to the fan via soft insert. The connection
must ensure tightness. Fans and air ducts should form closed electric circuit.
6.17. Connection of air ducts to the fan is done only after checking the easiness of the runner rotation, absence of
unbalance by making marks on the runner and inlet fitting with the chalk (when runner is rotated two or three times it
should not stop at the same place).
