1. INTRODUCCIN
Gracias por adquirir el Cronotermostato Porttil Coati. Este
cronotermostato est especialmente diseado para que usted
pueda controlar la temperatura de su hogar de la forma ms
cmoda y prctica, ya que el emisor no requiere ninguna instalacin, por lo que usted puede desplazarlo a la estancia de
su hogar desde la que desee regular la temperatura en ese
momento.
El Cronotermostato porttil Coati ha sido diseado para ser
utilizado con sistemas fijos de calefaccin elctrica, a gas o de
gasoil o con sistemas de refrigeracin, y puede sustituir a la
mayora de los termostatos domsticos de interior.

2. INSTALACIN
PRECAUCIN: Este cronotermostato slo puede montarse
en lugares interiores secos, en instalaciones de calefaccin o
refrigeracin fijas y sobre superficies no conductoras.
Para evitar descargas elctricas, desconecte siempre el sistema
de calefaccin o refrigeracin de la red elctrica principal desde
el interruptor general de la vivienda. Lea atentamente las instrucciones siguientes antes de instalar el cronotermostato.
Este termostato ha sido diseado para una simple y rpida
puesta en funcionamiento, slo el receptor precisa instalacin.
Montaje del receptor en la pared.
Lea atentamente las instrucciones siguientes antes de iniciar
la instalacin.
Retirada del termostato antiguo
Atencin! Asegrese de haber desconectado el interruptor
general de la vivienda antes de manipular las conexiones del
termostato.
1. Retire la cubierta del termostato.
2. Quite los tornillos de fijacin a la pared. En este momento
podr separar el termostato de la pared, viendo as la
conexin de los cables.
3. Desconecte los cables y deseche el antiguo termostato.
Montaje del receptor en la pared
1. Retire completamente la cubierta del receptor.
2. Marque la posicin de los orificios.
3. Haga los agujeros en las marcas realizadas e inserte los
tacos de plstico hasta que estn nivelados con la pared.
4. Fije la cubierta posterior dejando los cables en el interior de
modo que puedan ser conectados.
5. Conecte los cables los cables de la caldera a las bornas NO
y COM y los cables de alimentacin a las bornas N y L segn

6. Coloque la cubierta frontal.

Nota:
Cuando no exista preinstalacin, tenga en cuenta que la
mayora de calderas existentes disponen de su propio termostato. Debe retirar de la caldera el puente de conexin de
ese termostato y conectar entre los dos bornes libres los dos
cables dirigidos al receptor.
Sin embargo, para mayor seguridad, consulte con el manual
de instrucciones de su sistema de calefaccin o refrigeracin.
7. Una vez fijado y conectado el receptor, puede proceder a la
conexin de la red elctrica desde el interruptor general de la
vivienda.
Colocacin de las pilas
El emisor del cronotermostato funciona con dos pilas tipo AA de
15V, preferiblemente alcalinas. Para poner en marcha la unidad, abra el emisor y coloque las pilas dentro del compartimento
destinado a las mismas.
Cuando se colocan las pilas por primera vez la pantalla debe
mostrar alternativamente dos informaciones distintas, en la pri7

mera pantalla muestra la hora, el da de la semana as como la

temperatura de la habitacin (por ejemplo 26.5C) tal y como se
muestra en la figura siguiente:

En la segunda pantalla muestra la temperatura de consigna, tal

y como se muestra en la figura siguiente:

En caso de que la pantalla muestre una informacin diferente,

presione la tecla RESET mediante un objeto puntiagudo como
por ejemplo, el extremo de un clip sujetapapeles. Tras la instalacin de las pilas, cierre la tapa trasera del emisor.
Cuando el nivel de las pilas est bajo, la pantalla mostrar el
smbolo . En este caso sustituya las pilas por otras nuevas,
preferiblemente alcalinas. Si una vez sustituidas las pilas el
smbolo no desapareciera, presione la tecla RESET.

4. AJUSTE DEL CRONOTERMOSTATO

Seleccin del tipo de sistema: calefaccin o refrigeracin.
Dentro de la tapa frontal del cronotermostato encontrar una
pequea caja con tres interruptores. Estos tres interruptores se
utilizan para controlar el salto de temperatura y para definir si
el sistema funciona con calefaccin o con refrigeracin. Estos
interruptores deben ser ajustados antes de la instalacin de las
pilas. Una vez colocadas las pilas, no podr cambiar de calefaccin a refrigeracin (o de refrigeracin a calefaccin) salvo
retirando las pilas o presionando la tecla reset. Ajuste estos
interruptores (slo la posicin 3) segn sus preferencias, de
acuerdo con el diagrama siguiente:

3. PROGRAMACIN DEL DA Y LA HORA ACTUALES

1. Pulse la tecla una vez, el indicador del da parpadear con
las teclas de
o
seleccione el da de la semana.
2. Pulsando la tecla
de nuevo, parpadear el indicador de
la hora, y con las teclas
o
podr seleccionar la hora
correcta.
3. Pulse la tecla de nuevo, esta vez el indicador de los minutos parpadear y repita la accin con las teclas
o

fijar los minutos correctos.
4. Pulse
otra vez para salir o transcurridos 15 segundos
saldr de forma automtica.

Seleccin del salto de temperatura.

El salto de temperatura es la diferencia de temperatura a la cual
el cronotermostato cambiar de encendido (ON) a apagado
(OFF). El factor de salto preestablecido es 1C. Es decir, si
la temperatura de control establecida es 20C, la calefaccin
se pondr en funcionamiento cuando la temperatura de la
habitacin baje a 19,5C y dejar de funcionar cuando alcance
los 20,5C.
Ajuste las posiciones 1 y 2 de los interruptores, al salto de temperatura que usted prefiera segn el diagrama siguiente:

5. AJUSTE DE LA TEMPERATURA DE CONTROL

Este cronotermostato funciona teniendo en cuenta dos niveles
diferentes de temperatura de control: la temperatura econmica,
representada por un dibujo de una luna
en la pantalla, y la
temperatura confortable, que muestra el dibujo de un sol
. La
temperatura de confort es la temperatura que deseamos tener,
generalmente cuando vamos a estar en la vivienda, y la temperatura econmica es la que queremos cuando hayamos definido
que no vamos a estar en la vivienda. Esta temperatura deber
ser ms baja que la temperatura de confort.
Por ejemplo, un usuario que no ha cambiado las temperaturas
de control predefinidas, tendr una temperatura de confort para

La unidad saldr automticamente de esta funcin si no se
presiona ningn botn durante 10 segundos.

un sistema de calefaccin de 21C, frente a un valor de 18C

para la temperatura econmica. En los periodos que el usuario
defina que quiere la temperatura de confort, el sistema mantendr la temperatura ambiente alrededor de los 21C dependiendo
del diferencial de temperatura definido. En los perodos que el
usuario defina que quiere la temperatura econmica, el sistema
slo se activar si la temperatura disminuye por debajo de los
18C menos el diferencial. Al llegar a los 18C ms el diferencial
el sistema de calefaccin se detendr.
Para cambiar las temperaturas tanto la de confort como la
econmica:
1. Primero pulse la tecla , parpadear el indicador del sol.
2. A continuacin pulse las teclas
o
para fijar la temperatura de confort.
3. Para configurar la temperatura econmica pulse la tecla ,
parpadear el indicador de la luna.
4. Con las teclas
o
seleccione la temperatura econmica.
5. Por ltimo pulse la tecla SET para guardar y salir, si no
pulsa ninguna tecla saldr automticamente transcurridos 15
segundos guardndose tambin los cambios.

6. AJUSTE DE LOS PROGRAMAS

Una vez seleccionadas las temperaturas de control y establecida
la hora actual, podremos definir el programa de funcionamiento.
Para ello, deberemos seleccionar el da o bloque de das en que
queremos que se active el programa, el nmero de programa
que queremos y si el programa no es preestablecido, ajustar
qu temperaturas queremos para cada momento del da.
Seleccin del da o bloque de das.
Con esta funcin definimos que da o bloque de das queremos
que se active el programa.
CONFIGURAR EL DIA O BLOQUE DE DIAS Y ASIGNAR
PROGRAMA
1. Pulse la tecla , parpadear el da o bloque de das 1-7.
2. Con las teclas
o
para escoger el bloque diario que
queremos programar.
Podr escoger entre estas tres clases de das en curso:
1. Un programa diferente para cada da de la semana.
(1,2,3,4,5,6,7)
2. Un programa para los das 1-5 y otro programa para los
das 6 y 7. (1-5,6-7)
3. El mismo programa para todos los das de la semana.
(1-7)
3. Para confirmar la eleccin del bloque de das pulse el botn
, parpadear el indicador de programa.
4. Con las teclas
o
escoja cualquier programa (P1-PA),
que quiera poder en funcionamiento en el bloque elegido
anteriormente.
5. Pulsando una vez la tecla SET, el indicador de da parpadear, y podr repetir los pasos 2 a 4, si desea escoger otro da

7. PERSONALIZACIN DE UN PROGRAMA
El cronotermostato tiene capacidad de almacenar 10 programas
diferentes, los dos primeros (P1 y P2) son fijos.
P1 siempre temperatura de confort y P2 siempre temperatura
econmica. Los otros 8 programas son personalizables por el
usuario (de fbrica vienen todos siempre como temperatura de
confort). De tal manera que es el propietario quien a cada hora
de las 24 del da decide si prefiere que la calefaccin o aire
acondicionado este consignada con la temperatura de confort,
econmica o apagada.
Para personalizar un programa se deben seguir los pasos que
se explican a continuacin:
1. Pulse la tecla de SET, y mantenindola pulsada a continuacin pulse la tecla , el indicardor de programa parpadear.
2. Con las teclas
o
escoja el programa que quiere personalizar.
3. Pulse la tecla , y el primer segmento de tiempo, correspondiente al que transcurre entre las 00:00 y la 01:00 parpadear.
4. Pulsando las teclas
o
avance o vaya para atrs hasta
el siguiente segmento de tiempo sin cambiar el estado del
segmento de tiempo original.
5. Cuando quiera configurar un segmento de tiempo en modo
confort o econmica pulse la tecla
, y el selector pasar
automticamente al siguiente segmento de tiempo.
6. Cuando pulse la tecla OFF , saldr el siguiente segmento de
tiempo, y el segmento original quedar vaco.

7. Cuando haya terminado de personalizar el programa pulse

la tecla SET, y el programa editado parpadear de nuevo, en
este momento podra personalizar otro programa escogindolo con las teclas

y repitiendo lo arriba indicado.
Pulse de nuevo la tecla SET para guardar y salir una vez
haya terminado de personalizar los programas que desee.
8. FUNCIN ANTIHIELO
Esta funcin slo esta disponible cuando el cronotermostato
est instalado en un sistema de calefaccin, y permite establecer una temperatura muy baja, a la cual el sistema se activara
para as evitar la formacin de hielo en las tuberas.
1. Presione la tecla OFF. La pantalla mostrar el smbolo
y
el smbolo .
2. Presionando cualquier botn se desactivar la funcin antihielo y se regresar al programa de funcionamiento normal.
9. FUNCIONAMIENTO MANUAL
Este cronotermostato permite establecer manualmente un nivel
de temperatura, independientemente del programa que est
activado en ese momento. Esta funcin puede activarse de
forma indefinida o de forma temporal. De forma indefinida, la
temperatura fijada se mantendr hasta que pulsemos la tecla
SET y de forma temporal slo se mantendr hasta el siguiente
programa, en el cual de forma automtica se anular la funcin
manual.
Para fijar la funcin manual de forma temporal:
1. Presione las teclas
o
hasta que la pantalla muestre la
temperatura deseada. Al presionar las teclas
o
,aparecer en la pantalla el smbolo
y usted estar visua14

Para fijar la funcin manual de forma indefinida:

1. Presione y mantenga pulsada la tecla
hasta que en la
pantalla aparezca la indicacin HOLD.
2. Seleccione entonces la temperatura deseada mediante las
teclas
o
.
3. Para fijar el valor presione la tecla SET. La pantalla mostrar
alternativamente la pantalla principal y la temperatura objetivo acompaada de la palabra HOLD.
Recuerde: Esta funcin se mantendr activada mientras no se
presione la tecla SET.
10. FUNCIONAMIENTO Y COMUNICACIN DE EMISOR Y
RECEPTOR
1. Pulse el botn en el Receptor y luego conecte la alimentacin, sultelo hasta que se encienda el Led verde, en este
momento el Receptor estar en modo de aprendizaje.
2. Pulse el boton SET en el Emisor y sin soltarlo pulse el botn
, el Led verde del Receptor estar apagado (si el Emisor
est en el modo ON, el Led rojo del Receptor estar encendido, de otro modo no lo estara.), lo que quiere decir que el

lizando la temperatura que desea establecer (temperatura

objetivo).
2. Pasados unos segundos sin que usted presione ninguna
tecla, la temperatura objetivo quedar fija y se mostrar
alternativamente en la pantalla con la temperatura ambiente.
El nuevo nivel de temperatura establecida como temperatura
objetivo se mantendr hasta la entrada del siguiente programa.
3. Si desea anular el funcionamiento manual antes de la llegada
del siguiente programa, presione la tecla SET.

apagar el Led verde y volver a modo automtico.
11. ILUMINACIN DE LA PANTALLA
Pulse el botn SET y mantngalo pulsado durante 3 seg. La luz
se apagar si no se presiona ninguna tecla durante 10 seg.
12. AJUSTE DE CALIBRACIN
En algunos casos especiales el cronotermostato puede estar
instalado en lugares donde no puede medir directamente la temperatura de la habitacin. Por ejemplo, si lo que se desea es
controlar la temperatura del saln y el cronotermostato est instalado en otra habitacin, deberemos tener en cuenta que existe
una diferencia de temperatura lgica entre los dos lugares. Para
compensar esta diferencia podemos modificar la medida que
toma el cronotermostato entre -5 C y +5 C, dependiendo de
las circunstancias de la instalacin. Para ello:
1. Pulse el botn y mantngalo pulsado hasta que en la pantalla aparezca la indicacin CL 0.
2. Con las teclas
o
modifique el valor segn sus necesidades.
3. Para fijar el valor y volver al modo normal de funcionamiento
presione la tecla SET.

13. FUNCIN RESET

Pulsando el botn RESET una vez, se borrarn el da y la hora
actuales y se establecern en las 00:00 horas del lunes (1). Si
pulsa y mantiene pulsado el botn SET, y a la vez pulsa el botn
RESET, adems del da y la hora actual tambin se borran la
programacin y los valores de temperatura, que vuelven a los
valores de fbrica.

1. INTRODUO
Agradecemos a sua aquisio do Cronotermstato Porttil
Coati. Este cronotermstato foi especialmente concebido para
que possa controlar a temperatura da sua casa da forma mais
cmoda e prtica, uma vez que o emissor no requer qualquer
instalao, pelo que pode coloc-lo em qualquer parte da sua
casa em que pretenda regular a temperatura.
O Cronotermstato porttil Coati foi concebido para ser utilizado
com sistemas fixos de aquecimento elctrico, a gs ou gasleo
ou com sistemas de refrigerao e pode substituir a maior parte
dos termstatos domsticos de interior.

2. INSTALAO
ATENO
Este cronotermostato s poder ser montado em locais
interiores secos, em instalaes de aquecimento fixas e sobre
superfcies no condutoras.
Para evitar choques elctricos, desligue sempre da rede
elctrica principal o sistema de aquecimento, utilizando o
interruptor geral da casa. Leia atentamente as instrues
seguintes antes de instalar o cronotermostato.
Este termstato foi concebido para uma colocao em
funcionamento simples e rpida, apenas o receptor necessita
de instalao.
Montagem do receptor na parede.
Leia atentamente as instrues seguintes antes de iniciar a
instalao.
Remoo do termstato antigo.
Ateno! Certifique-se de que desligou o interruptor geral
da casa antes de manipular as ligaes do termstato.
1. Retire a cobertura do termstato.
2. Retire os parafusos de fixao da parede. Neste momento
poder separar o termstato da parede, vendo assim a
ligao dos cabos.
3. Desligue os cabos e retire o termstato antigo.
Montagem do receptor na parede.
1. Retire completamente a cobertura posterior do receptor.
2. Marque a posio dos orifcios.
3. Coloque os pernos nas marcas realizadas e insira as buchas
de plstico at que fiquem niveladas com a parede.
4. Fixe a cobertura posterior, deixando os cabos no interior de
modo a que possam ser ligados.
5. Conecte os cabos da caldeira aos bornas NO e COM e

os cabos de alimentao vo nos bornes N e L, segundo o

seguinte esquema:

6. Coloque os pernos de fixao do receptor na cobertura

posterior.
Nota:
Quando no exista pr-instalao, tenha em conta que a
maioria dos sistemas de aquecimento existentes dispem
do seu prprio termostato. Deve retirar do sistema de
aquecimento a ponte de ligao desse termostato e ligar
entre os dois bornes livres os dois cabos dirigidos ao novo
receptor. De qualquer forma, para maior segurana, consulte
o manual de instrues do seu sistema de aquecimento.
7. Uma vez fixado e conectado o cronotermostato, pode
proceder ligao da rede elctrica no interruptor geral da
casa.
Colocao das pilhas
O emissor do cronotermostato funciona com duas pilhas tipo
AA de 1,5V, de preferncia alcalinas. Para pr o aparelho em
funcionamento, coloque as pilhas dentro do compartimento

3. PROGRAMAO DO DIA E HORA ACTUAIS
Para programar a hora, siga os seguintes passos:
1. Pressione a tecla uma vez, indicador do dia a piscar.
2. Pressione a tecla

para definir o dia.
3. Pressione novamente a tecla , indicador hr a piscar.
4. Pressione a tecla
o
para definir a hora correcta
5. Pressione novamente a tecla , indicador min a piscar.
6. Pressione a tecla

para definir os minutos.
7. Pressione novamente a tecla para sair ou sada automtica
aps 15 seg.
4. AJUSTE DAS FUNES DO CRONOTERMOSTATO
Seleco do tipo de sistema: calefaco ou refrigerao.
Dentro da tampa frontal do cronotermstato encontrar uma
pequena caixa com trs interruptores. Estes trs interruptores
utilizam-se para controlar o salto de temperatura e para definir
se o sistema funciona com calefaco ou com refrigerao.
Estes interruptores devem ser ajustados antes da instalao
das pilhas. Uma vez colocadas as pilhas, no poder mudar
de calefaco a refrigerao (ou de refrigerao a calefaco)
salvo retirando as pilhas ou premindo a tecla reset. Ajuste estes
interruptores (s a posio 3) segundo as suas preferncias, de
acordo com o diagrama seguinte:

5. AJUSTE DA TEMPERATURA DE CONTROLO.

Este cronotermstato funciona tendo em conta dois nveis
diferentes de temperatura de controlo: a temperatura
econmica, representada pelo desenho de uma lua no cran,
e a temperatura confortvel, que mostra o desenho de um Sol
. A temperatura de conforto a temperatura que desejamos
ter, geralmente quando vamos estar em casa, e a temperatura

O salto de temperatura a diferena de temperatura na qual o
cronotermstato mudar de acendido (ON) a apagado (OFF). O
factor de salto prestabelecido 1C. Ou seja, se a temperatura
de controlo estabelecida 20C, a calefaco pr-se- em
funcionamento quando a temperatura da sala desa a 19,5C
e deixar de funcionar quando alcance os 20,5C. Ajuste as
posies 1 e 2 dos interruptores ao salto de temperatura que
preferir segundo o diagrama seguinte:

6. AJUSTE DOS PROGRAMAS

Uma vez seleccionadas as temperaturas de controlo e
estabelecida a hora actual, poderemos definir o programa
de funcionamento. Para tal, temos de seleccionar o dia ou
bloco de dias em que queremos que se active o programa, o
nmero de programa que queremos e, se o programa no
prestabelecido, ajustar as temperaturas que queremos para
cada momento do dia.

O Cronotermostato tem capacidade de armazenar 10 programas
diferentes, tendo com programas fixos P1 e P2.
O P1 esta programado para a temperatura de conforto durante
todo o dia e o P2 temperatura econmica de todo o dia. Os
outro 8 programas sero personalizados pelo cliente (vm todos
de fbrica como temperatura de conforto).
Para programar o Cronotermostato, dever de seguir os
seguinte passos:
1. Carregue na tecla SET, e mantendo pressionada, carregue
na tecla e o indicador do programa piscar.
2. Com as tecla

personalizar.
3. Carregue nas tecla
e o primeiro segmento de tempo que
corresponde passagem entre 00:00 e a 01:00 piscar.

Se quiser fazer outra programao, repetir os passos acima

9. FUNCIONAMENTO MANUAL
Este cronotermostato permite estabelecer manualmente um
valor de temperatura, independentemente do programa que
estiver activado nesse momento.
Para passar ao funcionamento manual do forma temporal:
1. Pressione as teclas

momento, o Receptor estar no modo de programao.
2. Prima o boto SET no Emissor e, sem solt-lo, prima o

Ao premir o boto RESET uma vez, apagar-se-o o dia e a hora
actuais e estabelecer-se-o as 00:00 horas de segunda-feira
(1). Se premir e mantiver premido o boto SET e, ao mesmo

tambm sero apagados a programao e os valores de

12. AJUSTE DA CALIBRAO

Em alguns casos especiais, o cronotermostato pode estar
instalado em locais onde no possa medir directamente a
temperatura ambiente. Por exemplo, se o que se pretende
controlar a temperatura da sala e o cronotermostato est
instalado noutra diviso da casa, deveremos ter em conta
que existe uma diferena de temperatura lgica entre os dois
lugares. Para compensar esta diferena, podemos modificar
a medida que realiza o cronotermostato entre -5 C e +5 C,
dependendo das circunstncias da instalao. Para tal:
1. Prima o boto e mantenha-o premido at aparecer no ecr
a indicao CL 0.
2. Com as teclas
o , modifique o valor de acordo com as
suas necessidades.
3. Para fixar o valor e voltar ao modo normal de funcionamento,

Le chrono-thermostat portable Coati a t conu pour tre utilis
avec des systmes de chauffage lectrique, gaz ou gazole
ou avec des systmes de refroidissement. Il peut remplacer la
plupart des thermostats domestiques.

2. INSTALLATION
PRCAUTION PRENDRE
Ce chrono-thermostat peut uniquement tre install lintrieur,
dans des endroits secs, pour fonctionner avec des installations
de chauffage et sur des surfaces non-conductrices.
Pour viter les dcharges lectriques, toujours dbrancher le
systme de chauffage du rseau lectrique principal laide
de linterrupteur gnral de la maison. Lire attentivement les
instructions suivantes avant dinstaller le chrono-thermostat.
Il a t conu pour une mise en marche simple et rapide. Seul le
rcepteur requiert une installation.
Fixation du rcepteur sur le mur
Nous vous saurions gr de lire les instructions suivantes avant
de commencer linstallation.
Dsinstallation de lancien thermostat
Attention! Assurez-vous davoir coup le courant avant de
manipuler les fils lectriques du thermostat.
Veuillez lire attentivement les instructions suivantes avant de
procder linstallation.
1. Retirez le cache du thermostat.
2. Retirez les vis de fixation du mur. Le thermostat peut
prsent tre spar du mur auquel il nest retenu que par des
fils lectriques.
3. Dconnectez ces fils et dbarrassez-vous de lancien thermostat.
Fixation du rcepteur sur le mur
1. Retirez le cache postrieur du rcepteur.
2. Marquez la position des orifices.
3. Percez des trous sur les marques ralises et insrez-y les
taquets en plastique en les enfonant compltement.
4. Fixez le cache postrieur en laissant les cbles lintrieur

6. Replacez le cache frontal.

Note:
Si une installation existe dj, tenir compte du fait que la
majorit des chaudires existantes possdent leur propre
thermostat. On devra retirer de la chaudire le pont de connexion de ce thermostat et connecter entre les deux bornes
libres les deux cbles vers le nouveau chrono-thermostat.
Cependant, pour une plus grande scurit, il est conseill de
consulter le manuel dinstructions du systme de chauffage.
7. Aprs avoir fix et connect le chrono-thermostat, on pourra
procder au branchement au rseau lectrique en reconnectant linterrupteur gnral de la maison.
Mise en place des piles
Lmetteur fonctionne avec deux piles de type AA de 1,5 V.
Pour mettre lunit en marche, placez les piles dans le compartiment qui leur est destin. Lorsque les piles sont places dans

de manire ce quils puissent tre connects.

5. Connectez les cbles de la chaudire aux bornas NO et
COM et les cbles dalimentation devront tre connects aux
bornes N et L, comme indiqu sur le schma suivant:

lmetteur pour la premire fois, lcran doit afficher la date et

lheure ainsi que la temprature de la pice (26.5 C par exemple) comme indiqu dans la figure suivante :

Puis, lcran doit indiquer la temperatura du consigne, comme le

montre la figure suivante :

Si lcran indique une information diffrente, appuyer sur la

touche RESET laide dun objet pointu comme, par exemple,
lextrmit dun trombone. Aprs avoir insr les piles, refermer
la face avant de lmetteur.
Quand le niveau des batteries est bas, lcran montrera le symbole . Dans ce cas-ci il remplace les nouvelles batteries par
autre, de prfrence les alkalines. Si une fois remplac les batteries le symbole nont pas disparu, appuyez sur la touche RESET.

4. RGLAGE DU CHRONO-THERMOSTAT
Slection du type de systme : chauffage ou rfrigration
A lintrieur du capot avant du chrono-thermostat se trouve une
petite caisse avec trois interrupteurs. Ces trois interrupteurs
permettent de contrler le pas de temprature et de dfinir si le
systme fonctionne pour le chauffage ou pour la rfrigration.
Ces interrupteurs doivent tre ajusts avant dinsrer les piles.
Aprs avoir insr les piles, on ne pourra plus passer du mode
chauffage au mode rfrigration (ou vice versa), sauf si lon
retire les piles et si lon appuie sur la touche Reset. Le rglage
de ces interrupteurs (seulement la position 3) en fonction des
prfrences de lutilisateur, se fait conformment au diagramme
suivant:

Slection du pas de temprature

Le pas de temprature est la diffrence de temprature
laquelle le chronothermostat passera du mode teint (ON) au
mode allum (OFF). Le pas prtabli est de 1C, cest--dire, si
la temprature de contrle tablie est de 20C, le chauffage se
mettra en marche lorsque la temprature de la pice descend
19,5C, et sarrtera de fonctionner lorsquelle atteint 20,5C.

Ce chrono-thermostat fonctionne en tenant compte des diffrents niveaux de temprature de contrle : la temprature
conomique, reprsente par une lune
lcran, et la
temprature confortable, reprsente par un soleil
. La
temprature de confort est la temprature que lon veut obtenir gnralement lorsquon est la maison, et la temprature
conomique est celle que lon aura dfinie lorsque personne
nest la maison. Cette temprature conomique devra toujours
tre plus basse que la temprature de confort.
Par exemple, un utilisateur qui na pas modifi les tempratures

de contrle prdfinies, aura une temprature de confort pour un

systme de chauffage 21C, et une temprature conomique
de 18C.Pour les priodes o lutilisateur dsire la temprature
de confort, le systme maintiendra la temprature ambiante
autour du 21C.
Pour les priodes o lutilisateur dsire que la temprature soit
conomique, le systme sactivera seulement si la temprature
descend au dessous de 18C. moins le diffrentiel.
Pour modifier les tempratures (autant la temprature de confort
que la temprature conomique):
1. Appuyer sur la touche pour faire apparatre lindicateur du
soleil.
2. Appuyer sur les touches
ou
pour fixer la temprature
de confort.
3. Pour configurer la temperatura economique , appuyer sur la
touche pour faire apparatre lindicateur de la lune.

temprature choisie. Lappareil sortira automatiquement
de ce mode si aucune touche nest actionne pendant 15

23C en mode rfrigration.
Temprature du verre:18C en mode chauffage,
26C en mode rfrigration.
Temprature de contrle faible en mode OFF: 7C
Lunit abandonnera automatiquement cette fonction si aucun
bouton nest actionn dans les 10 secondes.

6. RGLAGES DES PROGRAMMES

Aprs avoir slectionn les tempratures de contrle et
introduit lheure exacte, on pourra dfinir le programme de
fonctionnement. Pour cela, on devra slectionner le jour ou
le bloc de jours o lon veut que le programme fonctionne, le
numro de programme voulu et, si le programme nest pas
prtabli, on pourra choisir des tempratures pour chaque
moment de la journe.
Slection du jour ou du bloc du jours
Cette fonction permet de choisir le jour ou le bloc de jours pendant lesquels fonctionnera le programm.
PROGRAMMATION DU JOUR (BLOC DU JOURS) ET

7. PERSONNALISATION DES PROGRAMMES

Le cronotermostato a la capacit de stocker 10 programmes
diffrents, les deux premiers (P1 et P2) sont fixes.
P1 toujours est temperature do confort et P2 toujours est a
temperature economique. Les 8 autres programmes sont des
personalizables par lutilisateur (tous sortent dusine, prrgls
temprature confort). De telle manire quil soit le propritaire
qui dheure en heure du 24 du jour dcide sil prfre que
le chauffage ce consigne avec la temprature du confort,
conomique ou teint.
Afin de personnaliser un programme les tapes doivent suivre
qui sont expliques aprs :
1. La clef des pressions de SET, et de le maintenir a serr
aprs pressions de la clef les , lindicardor du programme
clignotera.
2. Avec des clefs
ou
elle choisit le programme quelle
veut personnaliser.
3. Pressions de la clef les , et le premier segment du temps,
correspondant ce qui passe entre 00:00 et 01:00 clignoteront.
4. La pression verouille

temps suivant de segment, et le segment original sera laiss

7. Quand vous avez fini de personnaliser le programme,
appuye la touche SET, et les clignotements dits de programme encore, ce moment elle pourrait personnaliser un
autre programme au-dessus de le choisir avec des clefs

et de la rptition indique.La clef serre encore SET
pour garder et partir une fois a fini de personnaliser les programmes qui souhaitent.
8. FONCTION ANTIGEL
Cette fonction est seulement disponible lorsque le chrono-thermostat est install dans un systme de chauffage, et permet
de dfinir une temprature trs basse laquelle le systme
sactivera pour viter ainsi la formation de glace dans les
canalisations.
1. Appuyez sur la touche OFF. Lcran montrera le symbole
et le symbole .
2. En appuyant sur nimporte quelle touche, on pourra dsactiver la fonction antigel pour revenir au programme de
fonctionnement normal.
9. FONCTIONNEMENT EN MODE MANUEL
Ce chrono-thermostat permet dtablir manuellement un niveau
de temprature, indpendamment du programme activ ce
moment. Cette fonction peut activer de la forme indfinie ou de
la forme provisoire. De la forme indfinie, la temprature fixe

1. Appuyer sur les touches

temprature objective reste jusqu lentre du programme
suivant.
3. Sil souhaite annuler lopration manuelle avant larrive du
programme suivant, appuie sur la touche SET.
Pour fixer le manuel de fonction de forme indfinie :
1. Serrer et vous maintenez la lance principale de de pulsation qui dans lcran apparat HOLD dindication.
2. Choisir alors la temprature souhaite au moyen de clefs
ou .
3. Afin de fixer pressions de la valeur les SET la clef. Lcran
montrera alternativement lcran principal et la temprature objective accompagns de word HOLD.
Se rappeler : Cette fonction restera active alors que la clef
nest pas SET serr.

10. FONCTIONNEMENT DE LMETTEUR ET DU

RCEPTEUR ET COMMUNICATION ENTRE LES DEUX
UNITS
1. Appuyez sur le bouton du Rcepteur, puis connectez
lalimentation et relchez le bouton jusqu ce que la Led
verte sallume; ce moment l, le Rcepteur se trouve en
mode apprentissage.
2. Appuyez sur le bouton SET de lmetteur et, sans le
relcher, appuyez galement sur le bouton
, la led verte
du Rcepteur sera alors teinte (si lmetteur est en mode
ON, la led rouge du Rcepteur est allume alors que sous un
autre mode, elle ne lest pas.), ce qui signifie que le code a
t mmoris. Le dispositif passe alors en mode automatique
et peut tre contrl par capteur distance.
3. Passage du rcepteur du mode manuel au mode automatique
et vis et versa.
1. En mode automatique, appuyez sur le bouton et
maintenez-le enfonc pendant 3 secondes, la led verte
sallumera alors, indiquant ainsi que le dispositif est pass
en mode manuel.
2. Appuyez sur le bouton pour contrler directement la
charge.
3. En mode manuel, appuyez sur le bouton et maintenez-le
enfonc pendant 3 secondes, ce moment-l la led verte
steint, indiquant ainsi que le dispositif est revenu en
mode automatique.
11. ILLUMINATION DE LCRAN.
Appuyez sur le bouton SET et maintenez-le enfonc pendant
3 secondes. La lumire steindra si aucune touche nest
actionne pendant 10 secondes.

En appuyant une fois sur le bouton RESET le jour et lheure
actuelle seffacent et la programmation stablit au lundi 00:
00 heures (1). Si vous maintenez le bouton SET enfonc et
que vous appuyez en mme temps sur le bouton RESET, en
plus du jour et de lheure actuelle, la programmation de mme
que les valeurs de temprature seffaceront galement et seront
remplaces par les valeurs dusine.

temprature du salon et que le chrono-thermostat est install
dans une autre pice, on devra prendre en compte le fait quil
existe une diffrence de temprature logique entre ces deux
pices. Pour compenser cette diffrence, on peut modifier la
mesure effectue par le chrono-thermostat entre - 5C et + 5C,
en fonction des caractristiques de linstallation. Pour cela :

Questo cronotermostato stato progettato specificamente
per poter controllare la temperatura della casa nel modo pi
comodo e pratico, poich non necessario installare lunit
emittente. In tal modo, possibile posizionarlo di volta in volta
nella stanza dalla quale si desidera regolare la temperatura in
un dato momento.
Il Cronotermostato Portatile Coati stato progettato per luso
con sistemi di riscaldamento elettrico fissi, con sistemi a gas o a

2. INSTALLAZIONE
ATTENZIONE
Questo cronotermostato pu essere montato soltanto in luoghi
asciutti, su installazioni di riscaldamento o refrigerazione fisse e
su superfici non conduttrici.
Per evitare le scariche elettriche, disattivare sempre il sistema di
riscaldamento dalla rete elettrica principale, dallinterruttore principale della casa. Leggere attentamente le seguenti istruzioni
prima dinstallare il cronotermostato.
Questo termostato stato progettato per essere posto in funzionamento in modo semplice e veloce. necessario installare
solo il ricevitore.
Montaggio del cronotermostato sulla parete
Leggere attentamente le seguenti istruzioni prima dinstallare il

Come togliere il vecchio termostato
Attenzione Assicurarsi di aver staccato linterruttore generale della casa prima di manipolare i collegamenti del termostato.
Leggere attentamente le seguenti istruzioni prima di iniziare
linstallazione.
1. Togliere il rivestimento del termostato.
2. Svitare le viti che lo fissano alla parete. A questo punto
possibile separare il termostato dalla parete ed osservare il
collegamento dei cavi.
3. Scollegare i cavi e smaltire il vecchio termostato.
Montaggio del ricevitore alla parete
1. Togliere completamente il rivestimento posteriore del ricevitore.

Nota:
Nel caso in cui non esistesse previamente uninstallazione, si
tenga presente che la maggior parte delle caldaie in circolazione dispongono del loro proprio termostato. Bisogna ritirare il
ponte di collegamento di quel termostato e collegare tra i due
morsetti vacanti i due cavi diretti al nuovo cronotermostato.
consigliabile consultare, per maggior sicurezza, il manuale
distruzioni del proprio sistema di riscaldamento.
7. Una volta collocato e collegato il cronotermostato, si pu
procedere al collegamento della rete elettrica dallinterruttore

Sistemazione delle pile
Il termostato funziona con due pile tipo AA da 1,5 V, preferibilmente alcaline. Per mettere in funzione lunit, sistemare le pile
allinterno dellapposito scomparto.
Quando si sistemano le pile per la prima volta, lo schermo
deve indicare lora e la data, cos come la temperatura della
stanza (per esempio: 26.5C) cos com indicato nella seguente
figura:

4. REGOLAZIONE DEL CRONOTERMOSTATO
Selezione del tipo di sistema: riscaldamento o refrigerazione.
Allinterno del coperchio frontale del cronotermostato troverete
una piccola cassa con tre interruttori. Questi tre interruttori
si utilizzano per controllare lo sbalzo di temperatura e per
verificare se il sistema funziona con riscaldamento o con
refrigerazione. Questi interruttori devono essere regolati prima
dellINSTALLAZIONE delle pile. Una volta poste le pile, non si
potr cambiare da riscaldamento a refrigerazione (o da refrigerazione a riscaldamento:) a meno che non si tolgano le pile o
si prema il tasto Reset. Si regolino questi interruttori (soltanto
la posizione 3) in base alle preferenze personali, seguendo il

esempio, lestremit di una graffetta per fogli di carta.

Una volta installate le pile, si chiuda il coperchio posteriore del
cronotermostato.
Quando il livello delle batterie basso, lo schermo mostrer
il smbolo
. In questo caso sostituisce le batterie da altro
nuovo, preferibilmente alcalino. Se una volta hanno sostituito
le batterie il smbolo non di scomparire, fare pressione sulla
chiave per RESET.

Lo sbalzo di temperature la differenza di temperatura in base
alla quale il cronotermostato cambier da acceso (ON) a spento
(OFF). Il fattore di sbalzo prestabilito 1C. In pratica, se la temperatura di controllo stabilita di 20C, il riscaldamento entrer
in funzionamento quando la temperatura della stanza scende a
19,5C e smetter di funzionare quando raggiunge i 20,5C.

di temperatura di controllo: la temperatura economica, rappresentata da un disegno di una luna

di controllo predefinite, avr una temperatura di comfort per un
sistema di iscaldamento di 21C, rispetto ad un valore di 18C
corrispondente alla temperatura economica.
Nei periodi in cui lutente stabilisce che desidera la temperatura
di comfort, il sistema manterr la temperatura ambiente intorno
21C.
Nei periodi in cui lutente stabilisce che desidera la temperatura
economica, il sistema si attiver soltanto se la temperatura cala
al di sotto dei 18C meno di differenziale. Una volta raggiunti i
18C pi di differenziale il sistema si fermer.
Per cambiare le temperature (sia quella di comfort sia quella
economica):

Una volta selezionate le temperature di controllo e stabilita lora
in corso, potremmo definire il programma di funzionamento.
Perci, dovremo selezionare il giorno o blocco di giorni nei quali
desideriamo che si attivi il programma, il numero di programma
desiderato e se il programma non prestabilito, regolare le temperature desiderate per ogni momento del giorno.
Scelta del giorno o blocco di giorni
Con questa funzione definiamo in che giorno o blocco di giorni
desideriamo che si attivi il programma.

Il termostato pu immagazzinare 10 programmi diversi, il primo
due programmi (P1 e P2) sono fissi.
P1 la temperatura di conforto per il giorno intero, e P2 la
temperatura economica per il giorno intero. Laltro 8 programmi
sono totalmente programmabili dalloperatore (di fabbrica vengono tutti come temperatura comfort). Loperatore pu decidere
tra temperatura de conforto, temperatura economica o spento,
ogni ore di giorno.
Per personalizzare il suo proprio programma fa il seguito:
1. Preme il tasto SET, e lo mantenendo ha premuto, preme il
tasto , lindicardor di programma ammiccher.
2. Con i tasti

di stabilire una temperatura molto bassa, in base alla quale il
sistema si attiver per evitare cos la formazione di ghiaccio
nelle tubature.
1. Premere il tasto OFF. Sullo schermo appariranno i simboli
ed .
2. Premendo qualsiasi pulsante si disattiver la funzione
antighiaccio e si ritorner al programma di funzionamento
normale.
9. FUNZIONAMENTO MANUALE
Con questo termostato lei pu regolare manualmente un livello
di temperatura ed indipendentemente dello stablished di programma per quel periodo. Questa funzione pu essere attivata
permanentemente o per un certo periodo di tempo. Quando
permanentemente attivato la temperatura riparata rimarr finch
lei preme il tasto SET, e quando attivato per un certo periodo
di cronometra la la temperatura riparata rimarr finch la prossima istruzione di programma. In quel momento che la funzione

manuale automaticamente annullata.

Per riparare loperazione manuale permanentemente:

1. La stampa e la presa il tasto finch HOLD lindicazione
mostrata nello schermo.

11. ILLUMINAZIONE DELLO SCHERMO
Premendo il tasto SET si accender lo schermo. La luce si spegner se non si preme nessun tasto per 10 secondi.
12. REGOLAZIONE DI CALIBRAZIONE
In alcuni casi particolari il cronotermostato pu essere installato
in luoghi dove non pu misurare direttamente la temperatura
della stanza. Per esempio, se si ha lintenzione di controllare
la temperatura del salone ed il cronotermostato installato in
unaltra stanza, dovremmo tenere presente che esiste una differenza di temperatura logica tra i due luoghi. Per compensare
tale differenza possibile modificare la misura che rivela il
cronotermostato tra -5 C e +5 C, in base alle circostanze
dellINSTALLAZIONE. A tale fine:

This Clock Thermostat has been especially designed so that
you can quickly and easily control the temperature of your home.
The transmitter does not require installation which means you
can easily move it around your home to control the temperature
of all its rooms.
Coatis Portable Clock Thermostat has been designed for use
with fixed electric, gas or oil heating and cooling systems and
can be used in place of most indoor home thermostats.

2. INSTALLATION
WARNING
The thermostat should be installed only in dry, indoor areas, in
fixed heating systems, and on non-conductive surfaces.
To avoid electrical shock, always disconnect the heating system
from the main electrical power from the master switch in the
house. Please read carefully the following instructions before
installing the thermostat.
It has been designed for quick and easy set-up, only the receiver
requires installation.
Mounting the thermostat on the wall
Please read carefully the following instructions before installing
the thermostat.
How to remove your old thermostat
Attention! Please ensure that the main power supply of your
home has been turned off before manipulating the thermostat
connections. Read the following instructions carefully before
beginning the installation.
1. Remover the thermostat cover.
2. Remove the wall fixing screws. You can now separate the
thermostat from the wall and see the cable connection.
3. Disconnect the wires and dispose of the old thermostat.
Mounting the receiver on the wall
1.Completely remove the back cover of the receiver.
2.Mark the position of the holes on the wall.
3.Make the holes in the positions marked on the wall and insert
the Rawlplugs until flush with the wall.
4.Mount the back cover leaving the wires on the inside in such a
way that they can be connected.
5.Connect the wires from the heater to NO and COM terminals
and the power supply cables to terminals N and L in accordance

6. Place the front cover onto the receiver.

Note:
When there is not previous installation, bear in mind that most
heaters have their own thermostat. Remove the connecting
bridge between the heater and its own thermostat, and connect the heater to the cables leading directly to the new
thermostat. For greater safety, however, consult the manual
for your particular heating system beforehand.
7. Once the thermostat is mounted and connected, procede to
reconnect the main electrical power from the household main
switch.
Placing the Batteries
The thermostat operates with two 15 V AA batteries, preferably
alcaline. To switch on the thermostat place the batteries into the
battery compartment.
When inserting the batteries for the first time, the screen should
show two different informations alternatively: in the first screen

it shows the time, date and room temperature (for example

26.5C), as shown in the drawing below:

If case the screen shows a different information, press the

RESET key using a sharp object, such as a paper clip. After
inserting the batteries, close the thermostat back cover.
When the battery level is below the minimum to ensure the correct working of the thermostat, the screen will show the symbol
. When this happens, replace the batteries for new ones, preferably alcaline. Press the reset key once and then reconnect the
general power supply.

4. CRONOTHERMOSTAT ADJUSTMENTS
Choice of system type: heating or air-conditioning
There is a small box with three breakers inside the front lid of
the chronothermostat. These three breakers are used to control
the temperature jump and to define whether the system functions with heating or air-conditioning cooling. These breakers
must be adjusted before installation of the batteries. Once the
batteries are fitted, it will not be possible to change from heating
to air-conditioning (or from air-conditioning to heating) except by
removing the batteries or by pressing the reset button. Adjust
these breakers (only position 3) according to your preference in
accordance with the following diagram:

5. CONTROL TEMPERATURE SETTING

This thermostat works according to two different control temperatures: economic temperature, symbolized as a moon
drawing in the screen, and comfort temperature which is symbolized
as a sun
drawing. Normally, comfort temperature is the one
we want to have when we are at home and economic temperature when we are out. Obviously, economic temperature should
be lower than comfort temperature.
For example, if the user does not change the pre-set control
temperatures, will have a comfort temperature of 21C and an
economic temperature of 18C.
During the periods in which it is selected the comfort temperature, the system will keep the room temperature around 20C

Choice of the Temperature jump

The temperature jump is the temperature difference at which
the chronothermostat will switch from ON (ON) to OFF (OFF).
The preset jump factor is 1C. That is, if the control temperature
established is 20C, the heating will start to operate when the
room temperature drops to 19.5C and will stop operating when
it reaches 20.5C.
Adjust the positions 1 and 2 of the breakers, to the preferred
temperature jump, according to the following diagram:

When the user selects the economic temperature, the system
will be activated only if the room temperature falls below 18C
minus the differential. When the temperature comes again over

Once you have set the control temperatures, time and date, you
can set the working program. To do so, select the day or group of
days in which you want the program to be activated, the number

The thermostat can store 10 different programs, the first two
programs (P1 and P2) are fixed.
P1 is comfort temperature for the whole day, and P2 is economic
temperature for the whole day. The other 8 programs are totally
programmable by the user (they all come from the factory as
comfort temperatures), who can decide for each one of the 24

In order to customize your own program make the following.
1. Press and hold SET key and at the same time press key,

keys you can go forward or backwards to the
next time segment without changing the status of original time

5. When you want to change from comfort to economic temperature or viceversa in one time segment, press

The temperature for that segment will change from comfort
to economic or viceversa and the next time segment will start
blinking.
6. When one time segment is blinking and you press the OFF
key, this time segment will be empty (indicating OFF mode for
this segment) and next time segment will start blinking.
7. When you have finished programming your own program,
press SET key and the edited program indicator will blink
again. In this moment you can change to another program
using

keys in order to program it following above

8. Press again SET key to exit and save the changes after you
have finished the new program.
8. ANTI-FREEZE FUNCTION
This function is only available when the chronothermostat is
installed in a heating system and allows the establishment of
a very low temperature, at which the system would activate in

1. Press the OFF key. The display will show the symbol

2. By pressing any button the anti-freeze function will deactivate
and the normal operation programme will return.

In order to fix the manual operation for a certain period of time:

2. After a few seconds without pressing any key, the selected

1. Press key until HOLD indication is shown in the screen.

9. MANUAL OPERATION
With this thermostat you can manually set a temperatura level
and independently of the program stablished for that period. This
function can be activated permanently or for a certain period of
time. When it is activated permanently the fixed temperature will
remain until you press SET key, and when it is activated for a
certain period of time the the fixed temperature will remain until
next program instruction. In that moment the manual function is
automatically cancelled.

3. To fix the new temperature level press SET key. The screen
will show alternatively the main screen and the new consignment temperature selected together with HOLD indication.
Remember: this function will remain activated until you press
SET key.
10. OPERATION AND COMMUNICATION OF THE EMITTER
AND RECEIVER
1. Press the button on the Receiver and then connect the power
supply. Release until the green Led lights up. The Receiver
is now in the learning mode.
2. Press the SET button on the Emitter and without releasing it,
press button
. The green Led on the Receiver will go off (if
the Emitter is in the ON mode, the red Led on the Receiver
will be lit, otherwise it would not be in this position). This
means that the code has been learned. It will be put in the
automatic mode and can be controlled by a remote sensor.
3. Changing from manual to automatic in the receiver.
1. In the automatic mode, press the button for 23 seconds.
The green Led will light up indicating that it is now in the
manual mode.
2. Press the button to control the charge directly.
3. In the manual mode, press the button for 3 seconds.The
green Led will go off and it will return to the automatic
mode.
11. DISPLAY ILLUMINATION
Press the SET button and keep it pressed down for 3 sec. The
light will switchoff provided that no other key is pressed during
10 seconds.

By pressing the RESET button once, the current day and time
will be erased and the clock will be reset to 00:00 hours on
Monday (1). By pressing the SET button and keeping it pressed
down, while you press the RESET button at the same time, the
programming will also be erased in addition to the current day
and time and the temperature values will return to the factory
values.

12. ADJUSTING TEMPERATURE GAUGE

Occasionally the chronothermostat can not be installed in the
same room whose temperature you wish to control. For example, you may wish to control the temperature in the dining room,
and the thermostat is located in another room. To compensate
for the difference in temperature between the two rooms, the
thermostat gauge needs to be modified between -5 C and +5
C, depending on the temperature difference existing between
the two rooms.
