GXP1400/1405 is a next generation small-to-medium business IP phone that features 2 lines with 2 SIP accounts, a 128x40 graphical LCD, 3 XML programmable
context-sensitive soft keys, dual network ports with PoE (GXP1405 only) and
3-way conference. The GXP1400/1405 delivers superior HD audio quality, rich and
leading edge telephony features, personalized information and customizable application service, automated provisioning for easy deployment, advanced security
protection for privacy, and broad interoperability with most 3rd party SIP devices
and leading SIP/NGN/IMS platforms. It is a perfect choice for small-to-medium
businesses looking for a high quality, feature rich IP phone with affordable cost.

PHONE SETUP:

Installing the Phone (Phone Stand):

to the bottom of the phone where there is a slot for the phone stand (upper part,
bottom part).

Installing the Phone (Wall Mount):

1. Attach the two wall mount spacers to the slot for wall mount spacers on the
back of the phone.
2. Attach the phone to the wall via the wall mount hole.
3. Pull out the tab from the handset cradle (See figure below).
4. Rotate the tab and plug it back into the slot with the extension up to hold the
handset while the phone is mounted on the wall (See figure below).

To setup the GXP1400/1405, follow the steps below:

1. Connect the handset and main phone case with the phone cord.
2. Connect the LAN port of the phone to the RJ-45 socket of a hub/switch or a
router (LAN side of the router) using the Ethernet cable.

3. Connect the 5V DC output plug to the power jack on the phone; plug the power
adapter into an electrical outlet.

4. The LCD will display provisioning or firmware upgrade information. Before continuing, please wait for the date/time display to show up.
5. Using the phone embedded web server or keypad configuration menu, you can
further configure the phone using either a static IP or DHCP.

1. To access the MENU, press the round MENU button.

2. Navigate the menu by using the UP/DOWN and LEFT/RIGHT buttons.
3. Press the round MENU button to confirm a menu selection.
4. The phone automatically exits MENU mode when there is an incoming call, the
phone goes off-hook, or when the MENU mode is left idle for 60 seconds.

PHONE CONFIGURATION:
Configure the GXP1400/1405 Using Web Browser:
1. Ensure your phone is powered up and connected to the Internet.

Configure the GXP1400/1405 using the Keypad:

1. Make sure the phone is idle.
2. Press the MENU button to access the menu options to configure the phone.
3. Select MENU->Config, to configure settings for SIP Proxy, Outbound Proxy, SIP
User ID, SIP Auth ID and SIP Password.
4. Follow MENU options to configure the basic features of the phone. For example:
configure the IP address using static IP. For details, please check GXP1400/1405
User Manual.
5. Please contact your ITSP (Internet Telephony Service Provider) for additional
settings that may be necessary to configure the phone.

2. Press MENU button to go into menu of the phone.

3. Press the down arrow button to Status and press MENU button to check the
IP address.
4. Type the phones IP address in your PC browser. (See figure on the right)
5. The default administrator password is admin; the default end-user password
is 123.

Para instalar el telfono sobre el escritorio con el soporte de telfono, fijar el

telfono con la parte inferior, donde hay una ranura para el soporte del telfono

Instalando El Telfono (Montura de Pared):

1. Colocar los dos espaciadores de pared en las ranuras para Montaje en Pared
localizada en parte posterior del telfono.
2. Fije el telfono a la pared a travs del orificio de Montaje en Pared.
3. Remover la Lengeta del Auricular (Vase la Figura a continuacin).
4. Gire la lengeta y vuelva a conectarlo en la ranura con la extensin hasta
sostener el auricular cuando el telfono est montado en la pared (Ver la Figura
a continuacin).

1. Conecte el auricular y la base principal con el cable de telfono.

4. La pantalla LCD mostrar informacin de aprovisionamiento o actualizacin de

firmware. Antes de continuar, por favor esperar hasta que muestre a la fecha/hora.
5. Utilizando del servidor Web del telfono o el men de configuracin del teclado,
usted podr configurar el telfono a travs de una direccin IP esttica o DHCP.

1. Para acceder al men, pulse el botn MENU de forma redondeada.

2. Navegar por el men usando las teclas ARRIBA/ABAJO e IZQUIERDA/DERECHA.
3. Presione el botn redondo MENU para confirmar una seleccin del men.
4. El telfono saldr automticamente del modo MENU cuando haya una llamada
entrante, el telfono sea descolgado, o cuando el modo MENU es dejado inactivo
durante 60 segundos.

CONFIGURACIN DEL TELFONO:

Configurando el GXP1400/1405 usando su navegador de
Internet:
1. Asegrese de que su telfono est encendido y conectado a Internet.
2. Pulse el botn MENU para ingresar en el men del telfono.

Configurar el GXP1400/1405 usando el teclado:

1. Asegrese de que el telfono est en estado inactivo.
2. Pulse el botn MENU para acceder a las opciones del men para configurar
el telfono.
3. Seleccione MENU-> Config, para configurar los ajustes para SIP Proxy, Proxy
de salida, SIP User ID, ID de autenticacin SIP, Contrasea SIP.
4. Siga las opciones de MENU para configurar las funciones bsicas del telfono
- por ejemplo: La Direccin IP, en caso de usar una direccin IP esttica. Para
obtener ms informacin, consulte el Manual del usuario de la GXP1400/1405.
5. Por favor contacte a su PSI (Proveedor de Servicio de Internet) para los ajustes adicionales que sean necesarios para configurar el telfono.

3. Pulse el botn flecha abajo para ver Estado y pulse el botn MENU para ver
la direccin IP.
4. Escriba la direccin IP del telfono en el navegador de su PC (Vase la figura
a la derecha).

2. Appuyez sur le bouton MENU pour accder au menu du tlphone.
3. Appuyez sur la flche BAS, slectionner Status et appuyer sur le bouton
MENU pour vrifier ladresse IP.

Configuration du GXP1400/1405 en utilisant le clavier du tlphone:

1. Assurez-vous que le tlphone est inactif.
2. Appuyez sur le bouton MENU pour accder au menu du tlphone.
3. Slectionnez Config pour configurer les paramtres du SIP Proxy, de
lOutbound Proxy, du nom dutilisateur SIP User ID, du nom dauthentification SIP
Auth ID, et le mot de passe SIP password.
4. Suivez les options du menu pour configurer les fonctionnalits du tlphone par exemple: ladresse IP si vous utilisez une adresse IP statique. Pour plus de

5. Veuillez contactez votre Fournisseur daccs Internet pour les paramtres supplmentaires qui peuvent tre ncessaire pour configurer le tlphone.

Telefoninstallation:

Telefoninstallation (Telefonstandplatz):

Fr die Installation des Telefons auf den Tisch mit dem Telefonstandplatz, bringen
Sie den Telefonstandplatz an der Unterseite des Telefons an, in dem es einen
Steckplatz fr den Telefonstandplatz gibt (Oberes Teil, unteres Teil).

Telefoninstallation (Wandhalterung):
1. Bringen Sie die beiden Wandmontage-Distanzstcke an der Aussparung fr
Wandmontage-Distanzstcke auf dem Telefonrcken an.
2. Fixieren Sie das Telefon mittels Wandmontagebohrung an der Wand.
3. Stecker von der Hrergabel entfernen (siehe Abbildung unten).
4. Stecker drehen und ihn wieder in die Einbaustelle einstecken um den Hrer
festzuhalten, whrend das Telefon an die Wand angebracht wird (sieh Abbildung
unten).

Fr das GXP1400/1405-Setup folgen Sie den Schritten unten:

1. Schlieen Sie den Hrer und das Haupttelefongehuse an die Telefonschnur
an.
2. Schlieen Sie den LAN-Anschluss des Telefons an die RJ-45 Steckdose eines
Netzknotens/Schalters oder eines Routers (LAN-Seite des Routers), unter Verwendung des Ethernet-Kabels an.
3. Schlieen Sie den 5V DC-Ausgangsstecker an die Energiensteckfassung am
Telefon an; stecken Sie den Netzadapter in einen elektrischen Anschluss ein.
4. Das LCD-Display zeigt Informationen zur Bereitstellung oder zum Firmware-Upgrade an. Warten Sie, bevor Sie fortfahren, bis die Datums-/Zeitanzeige erscheint.
5. Mit dem eingebetteten Webserver- Tastenfeldkonfigurationsmen knnen Sie
das Telefon mittels statischem IP oder DHCP weiter konfigurieren.

1. Um auf das Men zuzugreifen, bettigen Sie die runde MEN-Taste.

2. Navigieren Sie mit den Tasten NACH OBEN/NACH UNTEN bzw. LINKS/
RECHTS durch das Men.
3. Um eine Menauswahl zu besttigen, bettigen Sie die runde MEN-Taste.
4. Das Telefon verlsst den MEN-Modus automatisch, wenn ein Anruf eingeht,
das Telefon nicht richtig aufgelegt ist oder wenn Sie im MEN-Modus 60 Sekunden keine Taste bettigen.

KONFIGURIERUNG DES TELEFONS:

Konfiguration des GXP1400/1405 mittels Web-Browser:
1. Versichern Sie dass das Telefon angestellt ist und mit dem Internet verbunden.
2. Drcken Sie die MEN-Taste, um ins Men des Telefons zu gelangen.

Das GXP1400/1405 per Tastenfeld konfigurieren:

1. Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Telefon gerade nicht arbeitet.
2. Greifen Sie ber die Taste MEN auf die Menoptionen zur Konfiguration des
Telefons zu.
3. Whlen Sie MEN>Konfig., um Einstellungen fr SIP-Proxy, Outbound Proxy,
SIP-Benutzer-ID, SIP-Auth.-ID, SIP-Passwort zu konfigurieren.
4. Folgen Sie den MEN-Optionen, um die Basismerkmale des Telefons zu
konfigurieren. Beispiel: IP-Adresse, wenn ein statisches IP verwendet wird. Fr
Einzelheiten konsultieren Sie bitte das Benutzerhandbuch zur GXP1400/1405.
5. Bitte wenden Sie sich an Ihren ITSP (Internet Telefon Service Provider) fr weit
ere Einstellungen, die mglicherweise ntig sind, um das Telefon zu konfigurieren.

3. Drcken Sie die Pfeiltaste Nach unten auf Status und bettigen Sie die
MEN-Taste, um die IP-Adresse zu prfen.
4. Die IP-Adresse des Telefons in den Browser des PCs eingeben (siehe Abbil
dung rechts).

Installazione del telefono (montaggio a parete):

1. Collocare i due spaziatori a muro nella scanalatura corrispondente sul retro del
telefono.
2. Fissare il telefono sul muro grazie al foro per il fissaggio.

Per impostare il GXP1400/1405, seguire la seguente procedura:

1. Collegare il ricevitore e il case principale del telefono con il cavo telefonico.

2. Premere il pulsante MENU per accedere al menu del telefono.
3. Premere la freccia in basso fino ad arrivare a Stato e premere il pulsante
MENU per verificare lindirizzo IP.

3. Selezionare MENU->Config per configurare le impostazioni di SIP Proxy, Outbound Proxy, ID utente SIP, ID autorizzazione SIP, Password SIP.
4. Seguire le opzioni del MENU per configurare le caratteristiche di base del telefono, per esempio: lindirizzo IP, nel caso in cui venga utilizzato un IP statico. Per i
dettagli, verificare il Manuale dUso per la GXP1400/1405.
5. Contattare il vostro ITSP (fornitore servizi di telefonia internet) per le impostazioni supplementari che possono essere necessarie per la configurazione del telefono.
