Narcos Wagner Moura Goes Vegan to Drop

Running the infamous Medellin drug cartel made Pablo Escobar pack on the pounds. And
playing him in the Netflix series based on his life, Narcos, required Wagner Moura to do the
same. But just as Escobars career wasnt one to emulate, his health wasnt either. So to get his
weight in check and his cholesterol levels down, Moura went vegan.

Moura told NPR, Doing the vegan diet wasnt only about losing weight, but getting rid of that
character, you know, getting rid of that energy that I was having to live with for two years.
