Line are now just a chat away from ordering homegrown ridehailing app Gojeks services as the two startups have begun a
mutually beneficial cooperation to serve Indonesia's growing
smartphone market.
Indonesia-made Gojek chose Line as a partner to tap the
messaging app's 30 million users in Indonesia, Gojek brand
director Michaelangelo Moran said during the launch of the
cooperation.
Line users were able to order Gojek starting from Wednesday,
3rd February 2016.

Another reason for the partnership is that Gojek and Line are
both Asia based with the latter also providing local content for
Indonesian users, Moran said.
Gojek's initial focus upon teaming up with Line is to enhance
user

experience

as

they

want

to

combine

Indonesians

messenger-app habits and their commuting habits through the

collaboration.

News Now I am at one of the transport company in Jakarta,
namely GO-JEK. now I will speak with one owner of this
company.

Habsyah : GO-JEK is a social enterprise that partners with a
group of experienced and trustworthy ojek drivers to deliver a
one stop-shop convenience service include Transport, instant
courier, GO-FOOD, and shopping.

think GO-JEK just for transportation. Oh yeah, now many
people in Jakarta was used GO-JEK for transportation. I
see street in Jakarta full of ojek driver now. How the idea
to set up a company?

Habsyah : Really? I dont think so, This idea came when I was
talking with my subscription ojek driver, turned out to be
more than 70% of their work time just waiting for
customers. I also interviewed other ojek drivers, it turns
out all complain hard looking for customers. Especially in
Jakarta, congestion isworsened. If there is a transport
service and delivery fast and practical. It will greatly help
the citizens of Jakarta.

Habsyah : GO-JEK start operating in 2010. And GO service

reflect our fastpaced and proactive. And, we want to
create a brand where the main value added value GO-JEK

will immediately understand our customer the ease and

Habsyah : we are looking for employees freely. Anyone can to

be a member of GO-JEK. Including ojek driver bases.
