Document to upload the file to FTP server.

First you need to prepare your data for upload.

1. You need to create a folder with name using your Team_ID and theme selected as shown
below:
The themes are:
Theme1: Conservation and Smart Usage of Natural Resources.
Theme2: Divyaang (Specially abled people) and Senior citizens
Theme3: Futuristic agriculture

2. The folder should be named as Teamid_Theme1 or Teamid_Theme2 or

Teamid_Theme3 as per your selected theme.

3. For example, if your team id is 4955555123 and you have selected Theme2 then the
folder name should be 4955555123_Theme2.

4. Copy all your files for submission in this folder and then zip the files.

Now your files are read to be uploaded.

Method-1 (OS based FTP client (ftp command))

The below example assume you have placed your Aakruti Project File named
(teamid_theme1.zip) @ D:\Aakruti-Project path.

Step 1:
Open the command prompt
Start RUN cmd enter

Step 2:
Change the directory to path where you have your Aakruti Project File (In our case it is placed
@ D:\Aakruti-Project and the project file name is Teamid_theme1.zip)

Step 3:
You can check your project file using dir command

Step 4:
Now, connect 3DPLM FTP Server using below details.
FTP server IP address = 91.103.41.52
Username = anonymous
Password = anonymous

Step 5:
Now change the directory to Aakruti-2016 folder on FTP server. Notice that the name is case
sensitive hence type in same manner.

Step 6:
Now upload your project ( Teamid_Theme1.zip ) using put command and you should get
transfer complete message.

Step 7:
You can exit the ftp session using bye command.

Method-2: (If you are using WinScp tool.)

You can download the tool from below link: https://winscp.net/download/WinSCP-5.9.1-Setup.exe

Step 1:
Launch the WinScp Client on your machine and put the below information.

Select File Protocol as FTP

Hostname as 91.103.41.52
Port number as 21
Username as anonymous
Password as anonymous

Step 2:
Now change the FTP client mode to Active using below steps
a. Click on Advanced button

b. You will get Advanced Site Setting Window, click on connection option on the left
side and uncheck the passive mode button and press Ok

Step 3:
Now, click on Login button to connect to server

Step 4:
Now, you will get new windows, in which the left panel shows your system data and right
panel shows the ftp server data.
a. On your left panel, Brower to the folder where you have your project file in our case
(D:\Aakruti-Project path.)

b. On your Right panel go inside Aakruti-2016 folder.

Step 5:
Now, you can right click on your project file (Teamid_Theme1.zip) and select upload Or
simply drag and drop your project file from left panel to Right Panel ( Aakruti Folder on
FTP Server )
Do not worry if you are not be able to see the uploaded file on right side pane after
successful upload. Since this is secured ftp the files are not visible.
This completes your upload.

Also note that once the file is uploaded with a name, it does not allows to upload the
same name file again. Hence if your upload fails, please rename your zip file and add
_1 at the end and try uploading again.
