Monday: One paragraph typed/submitted to Google Classroom: using social and
environmental justice concepts, basic rights concepts, and individualism or
communitarianism, including the original position and distributive justice, make an
argument for who is correct and why: Friedman or Leopold? Must use one
underlined template and one new quote in MLA.
Tuesday: Google Classroomone paragraph. Explain the warrant behind the
opposing position and why it is incorrect. Must use one underlined template and
one new quote in MLA.
Thursday: Corpse Washer 71-98: Eight questions with page numbers and
answers. Center questions on community, environmental and social justice,
distributive justice, rights, communitarianism, and individualism.
Friday: Full Essay Due.

Monday: Marginalia on Friedman Handout
Tuesday: Google Classroomtwo paragraphs. Paragraph one: summarize
Leopolds view of nature as a part of our community. Paragraph two: explain
whether he is right or not.
Thursday: One paragraph on google classroom: summarize Friedmans view of
national parks with two quotes in MLA. Add templates to each quote.
Friday: Rewrite Leopold paragraph using two quotes in MLA.

Tuesday: study for Quiz (chapters ). Add marginalia on Leopolds Land Ethic
(handout)
Thursday: TBA
Friday: Read Corpse Washer: 44-70. Create 7 questions with answers and page
numbers. Focus on community, justice, and the environment and span the whole
reading.

Monday: Corpse Washer, 1-23. Create five questions with answers and page
numbers. Answers can be hypothesis.
Tuesday:
Thursday: Two Paragraphs: pick two rights, and for each paragraph argue why
that right should be universal. Type up on google docs and submit to the
classroom.
Friday: Read pages 24-43 and create five questions with answers and page
numbers. The questions must revolve around community and social and
environmental justice, including distributive justice.

Monday: Summer Assignment; Marginalia on Justice Reading
Tuesday: One page analysis: how important is water in your life? Should it be a
right, a product, or something in-between?
Thursday: One Paragraph: Are what happened in Bolivia and Flint just?
Friday: Go out into mean streets of Novato and locate one product that you find
interesting (for good or bad reasons). Then type (must be typed) a paragraph
saying whether it justly serves our community or not. Include any questions you
might have about it in the paragraph.
