Basic module

A system of terraces at different heights could resolve the

erosion phenomen by containing the ground and allow the passage
of people in a safer way. These could be made of metal gabions,
filled with bricks scraps, or of reclaimed tires filled with
soil and arranged in staggered positions.
In this lowest part of the valley all the canals carrying the
rainwater converge to tanks and pools gathered from
these terraces and made of masonry. Inside them occurs
the rainwater filtering processus. Subsequently to a
first step of prefiltering, the purification cycle is
interrupted and the water fills two open pools that
could be used as public washrooms.

is assisted by a pergola
whose variable configuration
performs multiple functions:
to collect and convey
rainwater to the tanks, to
serve as a seat support or
shielding.
