Job Description
President (IT Promotion)
Provide leadership to position the department at the forefront and
develop a strategic plan to advance the departments mission and
objectives and to promote revenue, profitability and growth as an
organization. Oversee departments operations to insure production
efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources.

Strategy and Planning


Develop a strategic plan to advance the departments mission and
objectives and to promote revenue, profitability, and growth as a
vertical under the department.
Oversee departments operations to insure production efficiency,
quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources.
Oversee IT investment promotion activities.
Plan, develop and implement strategies for generating resources
and/or revenues for the department by promoting and seeking
investments in IT, ITES and BMP sector.
Identify operational procedures, policies, and standards for
identified business promotion tie-ups and ventures.
Build a fundraising network using personal contacts, direct mail,
special events, and foundation support. Oversee promotion,
incentive disbursement and compliance procedures.
Promote the department to local, regional, national, and
international constituencies.

BE/ ME/ MBA
Post qualification Experience
of 20 to 25 years in the IT
industry with the recent 5 in
CXO role
Should have
experience dealing with
clients, partners & vendors
International exposure and
dealing with large MNCs
Should have understanding
of IT services, Products,
BPM & emerging technologies
Should have exposure
to vendor/ partner
management; procurement;
finance & HR functions
Exposure to industry
associations, professional
bodies - being an office
bearer is an advantage
Exposure to
Innovation, Entrepreneurship
and Investments
Excellent people leadership
skills
Good verbal & written
communication skills
Proactive and selfmotivated/ go-getter attitude
Age not more than 50 years

Higher education GoAP.


Operational
Review activity reports and financial statements to determine
progress and status in attaining objectives and revise objectives
and plans in accordance with current conditions.
Evaluate performance of executives for compliance with
established policies and objectives of the department and
contributions in attaining objectives.
Promote the vertical through written articles and personal
appearances at conferences and on various media.
Represent the department at legislative sessions, committee
meetings, and at formal functions.
Direct the planning and policy-making committees.
Oversee foreign operations to include evaluating operating and
financial performance.
