- afirmativ I am eu sunt ( I este pronumele personal eu si se scrie cu litera mare oriunde s-ar afla)

It is este (el/ea) pronumele it se foloseste pentru obiecte, animale, fenomene ale naturii)
We are noi suntem
You are voi sunteti
They are ei/ele sunt

I am not eu nu sunt
You are not tu nu esti
He is not el nu este
She is not ea nu este
It is not nu este (el/ea, referindu-ne la animale, obiecte, fenomene ale naturii)
We are not noi nu suntem
You are not voi nu sunteti
They are not ei/ele nu sunt
- interogativ
Pentru formarea interogativului nu facem decat sa inversam pozitia din varianta afirmariva:
In loc de I am eu sunt, vom avea Am I? sunt eu?
Exemple:
I am Daniela eu sunt Daniela
I am not Daniela eu nu sunt Daniela
Am I Daniela? sunt eu Daniela?
You are my friend tu esti prietenul meu
You are not my friend tu nu esti prietenul meu
Are you my friend? esti tu prietenul meu?
He is my neighbor el este vecinul meu
He is not my heighbor el nu este vecinul meu
Is he my neighbor? este el vecinul meu?
