Engineering Knowledge
Apply knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals and
an engineering specialisation to the solution of complex engineering
problems
Conduct the vulnerability analysis of Emergency Response Plan and
Interpret the emergency management plan (C4)

Fig 1 shows dangerous event detection system (DEDS) that has 3 sensors
namely Hazard (H), Risk (R) and Danger (D). No Accident Scenario is
given by the Boolean equation ZERO_ACCIDENT = (H=0) and (R=0) and
(D=0). When there is a possible occurrence of ACCIDENT, RED LED shall
be ON and GREEN LED shall be OFF . By the same token when the
situation is no possible ACCIDENT , GREEN LED shall be ON and RED LED
shal be OFF.
1. Design a functional logic circuit to reflect the given scenario.
2. Suggest the possible location for your H,R or D sensors and explain
what are the
purposes of placing the respective sensors at those locations within

4. Use Hybrid Power (Solar and Mains Supply and 12 V Battery) in your

10 V . The Alarm circuit shall initiate a SMS to the owner to remind on
