Application for an internship in business development

Dear Sir or Madam,
As the result of my interest in economics, the ability to think analytical and the passion for new
technologies, I am writing to apply as an intern at business development in Paris.
Currently I am studying Business Administration and Engineering at the University of Applied
Sciences in Karlsruhe in the 6th semester. The benefit of this degree course is the versatility of
economic and technical disciplines. With passed exams in subjects like business administration,
statistics, marketing and economics I feel prepared to use my theoretical knowledge in a
practical way.
I gained work experience during an internship in 2012 within the production planning team at
Mercedes-Benz. I was able to get a first impression of project management and I was really
excited by the challenge to manage and coordinate the needs of different departments.
Another important task was to gather and to administrate information from departments and
suppliers for the managing board of the project.
Considering my theoretical knowledge, my ability to work in a team and the will to learn
something new I expect myself to be able to manage upcoming challenges and tasks to support
your team.
To fulfil the rules of my study regulations the internship has to last at least ninety-five days of
presence. Due to these regulations my intended period for an internship is from October 2016 to
the end of February 2017. If the period is inconvenient for you and your team, I am ready to
adjust it.
I am eager to find out more about this position and would welcome the opportunity to do so in an
interview. Thank you in advance for considering my application. I look forward to hearing from
you.
Best regards,
