ofanumberofadvantagesDetergentsarepopularthansoapsanditsdemandisalwaysthereifthe
productpossessesbothqualityandpriceeffectiveness.Thereareanumberofvarietiesof
detergentsvaryinginpercentagesofactivematterpresentinthemandalsodifferentcolours.
Manufacturingprocessisverysimpleandonlymixingisinvolved.Hence,thisproductisbestsuited
formanufacturinginsmallscalesector.

investmentandhencetheothersimplemixingmethodisadoptedbyanumberofsmallunits.Inthis
project,simplemixingmethodisfollowed.
PROCESSOFMANUFACTURE
Acidslurryisfirstneutralizedwithsodaashandmixtureiskeptforonehourforcompletionof
reaction.OtheringredientssuchasSTEP,TSP,Glauberssalt,CMC,Colours,Perfumeetc.arethen
blendedtotheneutralizedacidslurrywithcontinuousmixing.Themixtureisthendried,slavedand
packedinsuitablepickings.
