Ninety nine percent of the respondents prefer the usage of Line (DSL) in their internet
connection rather than the other choices (Post paid and Pre-paid). In gaming preference, ages from 8-25
years old prefer online games; ages from 26-45 years old prefer offline games; and ages from 46 and
above prefer traditional games such as cards, mahjong, sungka etc. In playing games, ages from 8-46
years old commonly use the desktop and ages from 46 years old and above use cell phone. In
transportation, ages from 8-46 years old and above mostly use public transportation. In choosing a shoe,
ages from 8-25 chose either Branded or Availability, on the other hand ages from 26-45 chose Branded
while ages from 46 and above prefer the availability. In preference in choosing a wrist watch, ages from
8-25 prefer Availability; ages from 26-45 prefer Branded while ages from 46 and above prefer either
Branded or Availability. In choosing a cell phone, ages from 8-46 years old and above prefer the Quality.
In choosing a frozen food, ages from 8-25 and 26-45 prefer the quality while ages from 46 and above
prefer the availability of the product. Preference in choosing drinks both ages 8-25 and 46 years old and
above chose Availability while 25-45 years old chose Soda as their drink. Lastly , in choosing where to
eat if a person is outside with his family or friends, from ages 8-25 years old they prefer Restaurant , on
the other hand from ages 26-45 years old they prefer the availability while 46 years old and above prefer
restaurant.

Age and a way of life have a great impact on the preferences in choosing a certain
product and/or services. Many factors, specificities and characteristics influence the individual in what he
is and his decision making process, shopping habits, and purchasing behavior, the brands he buys or the
retailer he goes. In this research, we found out that ages 8-25 years old, 26-45 years old and 46 years old
and above have different basis or preferences on the certain products and services may it be through
social factor, personal factor, psychological factor or cultural factor. These only shows that their taste in a
certain product or services changes as time pass by.
