CRITERIA

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Demonstration Teacher in the District Level
Very Satisfactory Performance Rating for the last 3 rating periods
At least 18 MA units
At least 3 years teaching experience
At least 25 points in leadership, potential and accomplishments
a. Introduced any of the following which has been implemented
by the school or district
Curriculum/instructional materials
Effective teaching techniques or strategies
Simplification of work procedure that resulted in cost
reduction, e.g. rating system, reporting and records
keeping.
A worthwhile income-generating project for pupils given
recognition by higher officials in the division
b. Served satisfactorily for at least one (1) year in addition to
his/her regular teaching load in any of the following capacity
Subject/learning area coordinator or grade/curriculum
year chairman
Advise school publication or any special school
organization like dramatic club, glee club, science club,
etc.
Coordinator/adviser of such activities such as scouting,
STEP, YECS, Summer/Youth/Science Camps, Inventory
Research, Red Cross, Skills Olympics, Math Olympiad,
MTAP, Press Conferences, Boys and Girls Week and
other related activities in the:
National Level
Regional Level
Division Level
District Level
c. Served satisfactorily as Chair of a special committee, such as
curriculum study, preparation of instructional materials, school
programs, evaluation of instruction and other related
programs

d. Undertook an educational research duly approved, either for
improvement of instruction/teacher welfare or community
development
