Greetings from the Philippine Society of SRH Nurses!
The Philippine Society of SRH Nurses (PSRHN) is a non-profit, specialty professional
organization of nurses established in 2013 working and advocating on sexual &
reproductive health and rights of every Filipino women, men and young people.
PSRHN aims to advance the specialty practice of Reproductive Health and Family
Planning in the Philippines.
Last 8 July 2016, the Society convened nurses interested in the specialty practice of
reproductive health nursing. Those present were able to discuss the status, challenges,
and opportunities for nurses providing RH & FP services as well as the roles of RH nurses
in the reduction of adolescent pregnancies, maternal mortalities, and HIV infection and
in the attainment of the recently adopted United Nations Sustainable Development
Goals.
In this regard, we would like to invite you in the next coordination meeting of RH service
providers on Friday, 22 July 2016, from 9:00AM-5:00PM at the Manila Grand Opera Hotel,
Sta. Cruz, Manila to discuss the following matters:
1. Exploring the possibilities: Nurse-led FP Clinics
2. Planning session to advance RH Nursing in the Philippines
3. PSHRN Business Meeting
