In this appendix, we describe how term option works for one insurance coverage and its
associated coverages. Your policy may have more than one insurance coverage, and you may
choose a different performance credit option for each insurance coverage.
Term option provides an additional amount of insurance. We show your term option amount
in your Policy details. We also show the length of the term option guarantee in your Policy
details. Term option
combines yearly term insurance, deposit option
insurance and paid-up insurance to provide the
additional amount of insurance.
Disclaimer- Lifeinvader Insurance may do what they feel as a company is necessary, within the laws
and constitution of the TLRP roleplay, to protect their assets and company as a whole.

First year of coverage

During the first year of coverage we provide the additional amount of insurance as yearly
term
insurance at no additional cost.

After the first year of coverage

On each subsequent policy anniversary after the day the yearly term insurance coverage
starts we use
your deposit option insurance performance credits to buy additional deposit option insurance.
We use
your other performance credits to buy a combination of paid-up insurance and yearly term
insurance.
The combined amount of deposit option insurance, y
early term insurance and paid-up insurance equals,
but does not exceed, your term option amount.
If the deposit option insurance and paid-up insurance amounts total more than the term
option
amount, performance credits for your insurance and paid-up insurance coverages purchase
additional
paid-up insurance only. They do not buy yearly term insurance.

Term option guarantee

The term option guarantee means the total of your y
early term insurance, deposit option insurance and
paid-up insurance will be at least equal
to the term option amount shown in your
Policy details If the term option guarantee is in effect and performance credits for your
insurance coverage and associated paid-up insurance coverage in a year are too low to buy
the amount of yearly term insurance you need to keep your term option amount, we:
use those credits to buy yearly term insurance, and then
provide the additional yearly term insurance you
need to maintain the term option amount. We do
this automatically at no additional charge.
While the term option guarantee is in effect:
we wont reduce any existing deposit option or
paid-up insurance to pay for the yearly term
insurance
we will only buy additional deposit option insurance with performance
credits earned from any
associated deposit option insurance coverage
You lose this guarantee if you reduce the amount of insurance any associated paid-up
insurance
coverages provide.

If the term option guarantee is not in effect

If your performance credits for the insurance coverage and associated paid-up insurance
coverage are
too low to buy the yearly term insurance you need
to maintain the term option amount, we buy as
much yearly term insurance as those credits allow. We use your policys values to purchase
the
remainder. We use the policy values in this order and in proportion to the value of each
coverage:
Performance credits earned on any associated deposit option insurance coverage.
Any money in the accumulation account.
If there is more than one insurance coverage with term option, we divide the money in the
accumulation account proportionally. We share it ac

ross the insurance coverages that do not have

enough credits to buy the yearly term insurance
you need to maintain the term option amount.
Any cash value for associated deposit option insurance coverages.
We reduce the amount of deposit option insurance proportionally based on how much cash
value is
used. We buy additional yearly term insurance to replace this insurance.
The cash value of the associated paid-up insurance coverages.
We reduce the amount of paid-up insurance proportionally based on how much cash value
we use.
We buy additional yearly term insurance to replace this insurance.
If the policy values are still not enough we reduce the term option amount to the amount of
yearly
term insurance that the policy value can purchase.
If we reduce the term option amount, you can buy enough yearly term insurance to keep the
same
amount as you had immediately before the policy
anniversary. You must buy the insurance within 30
days of that policy anniversary.

Policy changesIf you make a change to your policy

If you decrease the amount of insurance provided by an associated paid-up insurance,
associated
deposit option insurance or associated yearly term insurance coverage, we reduce the term
option amount by the same amount. If you reduce the paid-up insurance coverage we also
end the term option guarantee. If you change a performance credit option from term option to
paid-up insurance or accumulation account, any yearly term insurance coverage associated
with the changed coverage ends on the effective date of the change.

Converting your yearly term insurance

You can convert all or part of the term life insurance
e provided by any yearly term insurance coverage
that is in effect to new permanent life insurance. You need to follow the rules described
below when
you apply for the new insurance. We wont ask for any information about an insured person
to decide
whether, and under what conditions, we will in
sure them. The new insurance must meet our
administrative rules.
You can apply for conversion at any time during the conversion period shown in your
Policy details
.

How to apply for conversion

If you would like to convert your yearly term in
surance, your advisor can help you complete an
application.

Any collateral assignee or hypothecary creditor under the Quebec Civil Code and all
irrevocable
beneficiaries must consent in writing to the conversion.
If you convert all the yearly term insurance cove
rage, you must change the performance credit option
for its associated insurance coverage to either paid-up insurance or accumulation account.
We may ask
you to give us any information we need to make a decision on whether, and under what
conditions, we
will change the performance credit option to paid-up insurance. If you convert part of the
yearly term
insurance coverage, we reduce your term option amount by the amount you converted.

When the coverage under the new policy starts

We must receive your signed application and the first payment required for the new
insurance during
the conversion period. Once we approve the conve
rsion, the new insurance starts on the next monthly
processing day. The insurance being converted ends

at 11:59 p.m. on the day before the new insurance

starts.
If an insured person dies before the new insurance coverage starts, we cancel your
application for new
insurance and refund any payments you have made for it.

Rules that apply to conversion

The new life insurance must be a product that we offer for conversion on the date you apply
for
conversion. The new life insurance may be:
a new coverage on an existing insurance policy with
us that allows you to add insurance coverage
after issue, as described in our administrative rules, or
a new life insurance policy.
You cant convert if the policy costs are being or will
be waived as a benefit of a total disability rider
because of any insured persons disability.
The new life insurance must insure only the same insured person or insured people as the
yearly term
insurance coverage.
An insured person must meet the minimum and maximum age and amount of insurance
requirements
of the new life insurance.
The new life insurance must have an amount of insu
rance that doesnt increase over time. You can
apply for a coverage with an amount of insurance th
at increases over time or an improved smoking
status or comparable risk category if you give us the information we need to make a decision
whether,
and under what conditions we will approve the change.
The death benefit for joint coverages must be paid on the same basis on the new coverage as
under the
original joint coverage. You can only convert joint la
st to die coverage if all the people insured under
the yearly term insurance are alive on the day the new insurance starts.
The new life insurance cant include any riders unless you give us the information we need to
make a
decision on whether, and under what conditions
we will insure them under the rider.
We base the cost of the new life insurance on the sex, birthday, and Healthstyle category of
the insured
person shown in your
Policy details
and the insured persons age on the birthday closest to the day the

new insurance starts. We use the rates in effect for new coverages on the day the new
insurance starts.
For joint coverages, we calculate the joint age based on the requirements of the new
insurance. If the
yearly term insurance coverage has been in effect for 10 years or less, we issue the new life
insurance
with the same insurance rating and Healthstyle category of the yearly term insurance
coverage.
Page 26

We use Healthstyle category 3 on the new life insurance when:

the Healthstyle category is 1 or 2 and if the same
category is not available on the new life insurance,
or
if the yearly term insurance coverage has been in effect for more than 10 years
We show the Healthstyle category in your
Policy details
.
The new life insurance includes any amendments and exclusions contained in your policy
that relate to
the insured person or insured people. It also includ
es any limitations we regularly include in policies
being issued on the same product for people of the same age, sex, Healthstyle and insurance
rating.
If we apply the provisions that relate to suicide
and questioning the validity of your insurance to the
new insurance, the dates we use will be those that a
pply to the yearly term insurance coverage. If the
new insurance is reinstated, the dates we use will be those which apply to the new life
insurance.
If we question the validity of the new insurance, we
can rely on any information provided to us to
obtain or reinstate the yearly term insurance coverage
or any additional information provided to us at
the time you purchased the new life insurance. If we are relying on information provided to
us at the
time you purchased the new life insurance, the dates we use will be those of the new life
insurance.

Adding a total disability waiver rider to your new life insurance

If, on the conversion date:

there is a total disability waiver ri

der coverage in effect on your policy,
policy costs are not being waived, or a claim has not been made that would result in the
policy costs
being waived, and
none of the people to be insured under a total
disability waiver rider added to your new life
insurance are totally disabled,
then
you can add a total disability waiver rider to the
new insurance, subject to our administrative rules
and if the new insurance offers it. We wont ask for any information about the insured person
to
decide if we will insure them, and
you can add the total disability waiver rider to an
y or all of the same people insured by the total
disability waiver rider on your policy.
