crackedconcrete.Uncrackedconcretecanbemodelledasalinear
elastic
isotropicmaterial.Forsuchamaterialthestressstrainrelationis
given
bytheYoung'smodulusandthePoissons'sratio.Wewanttousejust
one
relationforuncrackedandcrackedconcrete,sowehavetotreatboth
the
fracturezoneandtheuncrackedsectionasacontinuum.Suchan
approach
iscalledthesmearedcrackconcept.

constant shear retention factor 62i with a value between 0.05 and 0.20.
