Justification
-

The chosen font will be in serif and bold, in reference from the product analysis 1 and 2, cursive fonts were not easily recognisable. Serif is the suitable font to use
so that the customers will easily recognise the product hence attracting them to buy it.

The logo will contain images of winter fruits (preferably, outline of berry fruits) because the flavour of the chocolates are based on fruity flavours. Fruit flavour was
chosen because from the customer survey analysis, it was shown that people majority chose having fruit fillings in their chocolates rather than plain milk chocolate.

The shape of the wrapper will be rectangle since it is easy to produce.

The outer box will be rectangular in reference to my mood board. It is a high-range standard shape. It is easy to produce hence saving production time to be spent
on modifying other areas of the prototype.

These colour schemes were chosen according to my product analyses and product comparison wherein colour contrasting should be carefully considered because
some logos are unreadable because of colours clashing with each other.

The cost was not the main concern of the individuals in my survey, since 71% chose quality over quantity. This means that I will heighten the quality of my
product. However, the cost should be practical for a luxury product as well.

Since most the individuals here in Qatar can afford high-end confectionary items, it is most suitable to market my product here.

Aluminium foil preserves the chocolate for up to one year, it also produces a luxury feel on the product.

Opaque polypropylene will be used as the actual wrapper of the chocolate since it gives a smooth luxury feel on the prototype.

The solid white board gives high-quality printing surface, it produces a strong, impact resistant. Although it is a virgin paper, it can still be recycled.

Since the apparatus to make the prototype is limited, I would have to use the following: cutting mat, craft knife and steel rule. Although, these tools may not produce

foiled chocolate. The wrapper must be heat resistant, and they must be impermeable to make sure that they preserve the product.

Wrapper

The logo and wrapper designs will be made through the CAD or photoshop. Laser printers will be used to print off high quality image for the
prototype. Cutting mat, steel rule and craft knife will be used to cut the shape out.

For the prototype, the chocolate bar will be modelled using a styrofoam board, print my wrapper using a laser printer, and cut out the printings
with cutting mat, steel rule and craft knife.

Materials and Manufacturing

The outer box will be made out of solid white board. The outer must be heat resistant, and they must be impermeable to make sure that they

to add a glossy feel to my product as a high-range category. Gravure was chosen because it prints very fine details and high-quality image.

On the other hand, if the product were mass produced, gravure will be the process used for printing the layout for the wrapper and outer, as well as UV varnishing

Size

The sizes of the outer and wrapper promotes ergonomics.

In reference from my net features and product comparison of the outer, it suitable to have an outer that has an average size, not as large as other outers wherein
stocking them would be a problem since they can easily fall over due to its heavy weight and staffs cannot easily handle them. Whereas producing a much smaller

outer containing about 20 bars of chocolate each is practical enough to market my product since sales of new products tend to be unpopular in the beginning.

The chocolate wrapper and outer will be recyclable.

Using a plastic material on both the wrapper and outer will not help the environment. The product promotes protection of the environment.

Although the outer box will be made out of solid white board, the outer will be recyclable.

Turning the outer as a recycled material can both be useful and save the environment at the same time.

Symbols of recycling and eco-friendly signs will be shown on both the wrapper and outer.

The symbols that will be shown on the wrapper and outer should be attractive and aware people immediately so as to protect the environment.

The target market will be people of ages 18 and above.

The customers will be able to buy the product on huge department stores and on independent confectionary shops.

In reference from the customer survey analysis, 59% out of 100% were in favour of chocolates.

The outer box will display: the logo, the price per bar, the number of bars containing the box, the estimated weight, nutritional and allergy

Huge department stores and on individual high-end shops will be most suitable to market the product since the products standard is at high-range.

According to the customer search survey, most of the individuals were health conscious and they prefer their chocolates with the right amount of nutritional value

information, dietary requirements (Halal, vegetarian, kosher), the barcode, and the recycling information.

The chocolate bar wrapper will display: the flavour, nutritional info, barcode, the net weight, the logo, and the recycling and disposal symbol.
