Engineering Mathematics

Follow standard books prepared especially for Gate exam rather than
following academics oriented conventional books like B. S. Grewal etc.
I recommend you to buy GATE Engineering Mathematics by Made Easy.
-Best book for Gate mathematics (personal experience).There is no
replacement for this book. I followed this one and scored 15/15 in maths
section.
Plzz do not take Maths + Aptitude sections for granted.
-Last yr maths section was pretty much easy and many candidates scored
13-15 marks out of 15 even without having good preparation. So, dont
expect the same level of questions this yr too, be prepared for the worst.
-These sections contain 30 marks weightage and affect your rank greatly.
Having good command on these sections will surely give you edge over
other candidates.
-There were many candidates who scored 45-55 marks in technical section
(comparable to toppers) but due to pathetic performance in Maths +
Aptitude sections, they got themselves out of top-30 in the final ranklist.
-Even toppers got marks in technical section in the same range i.e. 45-55
but they did pretty well in Maths + Aptitude sections that helped them
fetching their ranks. Most of the toppers got 28-30 marks out of 30.
