Dear student,
Hello! I hope you are doing well.
Well, OULGOUT ENGLISH BOOKLETS are a series of mini books devised to
help you learn English and develop a native
native-like
like proficiency. The booklets cover
a variety of daily English skills and focus on the notion of communication,
culture, and community to raise your awareness about the way the natives use
English in different, everyday situations.
This compilation of English conversations which we
e have selected from different
online recourses seeks to improve your listening and speaking skills. A CD-ROM
has been associated with this booklet to help you meet this aim.
To get started,
1. Select a theme and a conversation.
2. Silently read the conversation twice without listening to the track in the CD.
3. Play the track of the conversation you read and follow the conversation in
your booklet. Do this twice or three times.
4. Try now to read the conversation aloud without playing the track. Struggle
to speak as you learned from the conversation. Pay attention to
pronunciation, stress and intonation. (You can do this with your friend)
I hope this booklet will be of utility to help you speak English like a native.
All the best,
A. OULGOUT
