TO: ALL PROSPECTIVE GRADUANDS OF THE 31st GRADUATION CEREMONY

Dear Students,
RE: DEADLINES FOR PAYMENT OF OUTSTANDING FEES AND SUBMISSION OF ERROR
FREE DISSERTATIONS/THESES
The 31st graduation ceremony will take place on Thursday, 24th November 2016, at our
permanent HQ in Bungo, Kibaha. All prospective graduands-postgraduate, undergraduate and
non-degree graduands, who have met all requirements for graduation, must ensure to have
settled all outstanding fees by 25th October, 2016.
The Open University of Tanzania wishes to inform you of the following deadlines:(i)
October 20th, 2016: RPPC to approve the final list of prospective graduands qualifying for
various postgraduate awards.
(ii)

October 24th, 2016: UGSC to approve the final list of prospective graduands qualifying for
award of certificates, diploma and degree.

(iii)

October 25th, 2016: The last day for payment of fees for prospective graduands with
outstanding debts.

October 25, 2016: The last day for submitting list of all prospective graduands to Chairman
of Senate.
October 30th, 2016: Submission to TCU of final list of graduands for the 31st graduation
ceremony.

Students are informed that any names coming after the list of graduands has been submitted to
TCU on 30th October, 2016 will be considered for the 32nd graduation ceremony in 2017. We
therefore urge all undergraduate and postgraduate students, who qualify to graduate, to contact
their Faculties/Institutes to confirm their status.
Only students who have paid in full, all their fees will be cleared for graduation this year. Please
check with the Director of Finance, on your fees payment status and get cleared. We congratulate
all those who have completed their studies and are ready to graduate.
