Standards used for performance of work at height

When working at heights, use personal protective equipment to avoid falls from height. Equipment
is designed to keep a person in a fixed position to prevent a dangerous fall and stop him safely, or
to maintain the vertical position of a technician after the fall.
Personal protective equipment is the most important set of measures in organization of work at
heights. Before using the equipment you must make sure they are consistent with the
requirements, complete and fully operational. All staff has to be trained to use PPE accordingly.
When selecting PPE, it is important to make sure you have a certificate of conformity with the
relevant requirements, regulations or standards.
