Asunto: Explicacin de Visa temporal

Por medio de la presente extiendo un cordial saludo de mi parte y de mi familia Daniel

Felipe Torres Perdomo y Lina Lorena Perdomo Lpez, de igual forma deseo pedir
disculpas por el error en el diligenciamiento del formato IMM5257, al no informar sobre la
aplicacin de residencia permanente en una anterior ocasin; aclarando que en ningn
momento ha sido mi intencin faltar a la verdad y quiero explicar a continuacin lo
sucedido:
En la pregunta del ttulo BACKGROUND INFORMATION seccin 2 pregunta C Have you
previously applied to enter or remain in Canad? Respond NO debido a que entend que
la pregunta mencionada se refera a una aplicacin de visa de turismo o transito conforme
a las opciones disponibles en la seccin Visa requested, incurriendo en un error humano
al entender la pregunta de una forma incorrecta. Tambin quiero aclarar que la anterior
solicitud de visa fue por motivos humanitarios relacionados con el conflicto interno
colombiano de la cual desconozco el estado en el cual finalizo, para dicha solicitud
anterior di respuesta oportuna a la embajada y no recib contestacion, de igual forma
tampoco averige el estado de esa solicitud, sin embargo agradezco la buena voluntad y
la atencin prestada en aquel momento. Adicionalmente anexo la ltima carta que recib
de parte de los oficiales de Visa canadiense.
Quiero respetuosamente aclarar que mi deseo y el de mi familia no era mentirles por el
contrario es el de conocer Canad por su multiculturalidad, hermosos paisajes, sus
ciudades y especialmente por su calor humano.
Agradezco la atencin prestada y el tiempo dedicado a mi explicacin y quedo en espera
de su amable respuesta.

Here by I would like to send my regards on behalf of me and my family Daniel Felipe
Torres Perdomo and Lina Lorena Perdomo Lpez, as well as take this opportunity to
apologize for the mistake incurred by filling the format IMM5257, by missing informing you
about a permanent residence application request made in a previous opportunity. I would
like to clarify that it hasnt been my desire to lie to you, therefore I would like to explain
what happened:
First, In the questions that makes reference to BACKGROUND INFORMATION, section 2,
question C., Have you previously applied to enter or remain in Canada? I answered
NO, by understanding that it was talking about a Tourism Visa or Transit Visa application
according to the available options in section Visa Requested, incurring in a human
mistake by understanding the question in an incorrect way. Also, I would like to clarify that
a previous request submitted was due to humanitarian reasons related to the Colombian
armed conflict which I do not know what was the result of that application. In regards of
that request, I gave timely response to the embassy, however I did not receive an answer
about it, and neither I searched for the application status. Nevertheless, I would like to
thank you for your willingness and support at that time. In addition, I am attaching the last
letter received by the Canadian Immigration Officers.
On the other hand, I would like to express me and my familys wishes were not intended to
lie, our desire always has been the possibility to know Canada based on its multicultural
background, beautiful landscapes, wonderful cities and human touch.
Finally, I would like to thank you for your time and dedication taken to read my explanation,
also I will be looking forward for your kind response.
