How to register for the course?

Step 1: Log on to www.nsc.org.in -- > e-learning


Step 2: Fill the Registration Form online

Please select appropriate payment option from the following.

i. Crossed Cheque / DD in favor of National Safety Council, Mumbai:


To be prepared in advance before registration. Cheque / DD details to be entered
in the Registration Form online. DD/Cheque along with completed Registration
Form should be sent to the Director General, National Safety Council, Plot No.
98- A, Institutional Area, Sector 15, CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai 400614 so
as to reach on or before 20th June 2016.

ii. Credit card / Debit card


Through Internet Payment Gateway while registering online.


iii. NEFT/Net Banking
Payment to be made prior to registration. Unique Transaction Reference Number
(UTR No)./ Transaction ID generated to be noted and entered in the Registration
Form. Relevant bank particulars are as follows.

About NSC:
National Safety Council (NSC) was set up by the Ministry of Labour,
Government of India on 4th March, 1966 to generate, develop and
sustain a voluntary movement on Safety, Health and Environment
(SHE) at the national level. Its mission is to build capacity, develope
material, methods, procedures and strengthen the national movement
(including unorganized sector) on Safety, Health and Environment to
prevent and mitigate the loss of life, human suffering and economic
losses.
NSC provides a number of services to its members. These include
organising and conducting specialized training courses, conferences,
seminars & workshops; conducting consultancy studies such as safety
audits, hazard evaluation & risk assessment; designing and developing
SHE promotional materials & publications; facilitating organisations
in celebrating various campaigns e.g. Road Safety Awareness Week,
National Safety Day/Week, Fire Service Week, World Environment
Day, and recognizing meritorious safety performance of organizations.

E-learning:

begins with individuals, and will help in the development of preventive


culture.
This course will educate an individual employee about identification,
measurement, prevention and control of work related hazards.

The course is aimed for the new employees, Supervisors, Managers
from all Industries.
An overwhelming response was received for the first batch of the
E-learning course on Industrial Safety . More than 150 participants
registered for the first batch.

About this course:


The Safety & Health hazards of workers and other employees, including
women at the workplace have been a cause of concern for a long
time. Many of them are exposed to dangerous working conditions
and other occupational hazards at the workplace. Globally, as per
ILO estimates more then 2.30 million deaths are occurring due to
work related factors. It is critical for employers and other responsible
persons to be more conscious of workplace hazards, take preventive
measures to avoid accidents, and to ensure that norms of safety,
health and hygiene are adhered to. It is equally important for workers
and employees to understand the hazards of their occupations and
be aware of the appropriate preventive measures. Safety is everyone's
responsibility, and building a safer and healthier work environment
should be managements top priority. Adopting proper safety procedures

Course Structure:
1. Duration : 6 weeks
2. Modules: Five Modules covering above topics.
3. Course Fee: `4500/- to be paid at the time of registration. Payment
can be made by DD/Cheque/Internet Payment Gateway/NEFT.
Fees is inclusive of all applicable taxes.
4. Examination: Online test every week (Sunday) covering maximum
two topics. Reading material will be provided online at the beginning
of each week.
5. Certificate: After successful completion of the Course, a certificate
will be issued.
