High resistance by leakage

1. What is ballistic galvanometer?

It is an instrument used to measure the sudden flow of charges
through it for a short interval of time.
2. What is charge sensitivity?
it is deflection produced in the coil per unit charge.
3. What is current sensitivity?
Deflection per unit current.
4. What is resistance?
It is the opposition for the flow of charge or current through wire.
5. What is capacitor?
It is a device which stores the charge and energy.
6. What is dielectric?
It is an insulator.
7. How do you charge the capacitor?
By applying potential difference and voltage.
I,e by connecting a cell across it.
8. What is that resistance I the formula R=SP/S-P?
It is the effective resistance of high resistance R and leakage
resistance S.
9. What is S?
It is the leakage of the capacitor i.e in the absence of R , charge leads
through the capacitor in a few second and remaining charge flow
through B.G.

What is the difference between ordinary galvanometer and B.G.?
B.G. is a sensitive galvanometer which measures very small current or
charge that flows through it.
