Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Q 1. How does a New prospect register as an ABO online post October 01,
2016? What are the documents required to register?
Ans. A prospect will now register her/himself by using the 'Register' tab on
www.amway.in (refer to screen shot attached). Before the prospect starts
filling up the online registration form, he would be required to validate his
Aadhar number online. There is no change in the documents required to
join as a new ABO.
Documents which are required to be uploaded are:
Copy of Address Proof
Bank account details
Identity proof

Q 2. Does the prospect need to provide the Aadhar copy at the time of
registration?
Ans. No, the Aadhar number, name as on Aadhar card and date of birth is
required for validation at the time of registration.
Q 3. Can two prospects be registered using the same Aadhar number?
Ans. No, Aadhar being a unique ID should be unique per user. The system will not
permit same Aadhar number for more than one ABO.
Q 4. How will the validation take place for the Aadhar number provided on
www.amway.in?
Ans. The Aadhar number, name as on Aadhar card and the date of birth is
verified from the government portal and a confirmation will be sent back to
the Amway site. If all the details are correct and match with Aadhar record,
the prospect will be allowed to complete the registration process.
All information provided is secured and used solely for validation purposes
and will not be quoted anywhere else.
Q 5. Does ABO need to submit the physical copy of the application in Amway
office?
Ans. Under the new process, in case registration is being done online, no
documents for a new ABO registration need to be submitted to any of the
office.
Q 6. Once the new ABO is registered, will he/she be able to place an order or
sponsor another ABO, immediately?
Ans. The new ABO will be able to place an order once the application is verified,
which takes approximately 2 hours. The ABO will be able to sponsor another
ABO once he/she has gone through the mandatory training.
Q 7. Is the mobile number and email id mandatory for online joining?
Ans. Yes, both are mandatory for online joining.
Q 8. What happens in case a prospect does not have Aadhar number?
Ans. Online registration will not be possible without an Aadhar number. In case
someone does not have an Aadhar number, he can visit https://uidai.gov.in
where one can find details on how to apply for Aadhar Card.
