Holy Rosary
The above book marker is for you to print and cut out for use when you are saying your rosary.
In 2008, I was diagnosed with a rare type of cancer: testicular cancer. This type accounts for
only 1% of the cancers found in men, and they are usually between the ages of 15 and 35 years
old. I was 48 years old when I discovered I was part of the 1%. I not only had a rare disease,
but I beat also beat the odds age-wise, as well. I was also a day late and dollar short in terms
of discovering the cancer as it had all ready metastasized into my abdomen. This type of cancer,
once it spreads, can kill in a short amount of time.
It wasn't all bad news. If I had gotten this cancer during my younger years, in the 1970's, it
would have been a death sentence as there was no treatment. The famous football star Brian
Piccolo (watch the movie, "Brian's Song" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_Piccolo) died of
this same cancer in 1970. Nowadays, if discovered soon enough, the cure rate is well into the 90
percentile. I reached my 5 years of being cancer free last year, and took on the title of "cancer
survivor." It was during the trial of being physically cured, through months and months of
intense chemotherapy (often 6 hours a day for 5 days straight) that I began to be cured not only
in body, but also in spirit.
FAST FORWARD:
In reflection, while the cancer cells were dying in me, they were being replaced by spiritual cells
of healing. I journaled about my experience which is too lengthy to delve into here. The bottom
line is the Holy Spirit breathed into me a message of Healing that I was being asked to pass
on. I truly believe a miracle took place. After a few years have passed, I believe the Spirit
is asking me to continue this effort to get the "Word" out there of healing. I have struggled
mightily with the belief that I would be given such a task. Who is worthy? Certainly not
I. When I recall that "God doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies the called", my spirit is
reinvigorated. I know the truth in the words, "It is not I who live, but He who lives in me" and
John the Baptist's words, "I must decrease and He must increase". They must guide me and help
me to continually recall that "God is Love and that He is an ocean of Mercy.
That message is revealed in "The Healing Mysteries"the Fifth Mystery of the Most Holy
Rosary. It does not have a specific day attached to it as the other mysteries, but can be offered
on any day for any person or group of people who are in need, and are seeking God's Divine
Mercy for any physical, mental, or spiritual assistance.
HAIL MARY
22 The people were astonished at his teaching, for he taught them as one having authority and
not as the scribes.
HAIL MARY
23 In their synagogue was a man with an unclean spirit;
HAIL MARY
24 he cried out, "What have you to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth?
HAIL MARY
The unclean spirit cried, Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are--the Holy One of
God!"
HAIL MARY
25 Jesus rebuked him and said, "Quiet! Come out of him!"
HAIL MARY
26 The unclean spirit convulsed him and with a loud cry came out of him.
HAIL MARY
27 All were amazed and asked one another, "What is this? A new teaching with authority.
HAIL MARY
He commands even the unclean spirits and they obey him."
HAIL MARY
28 His fame spread everywhere throughout the whole region of Galilee. HAIL MARY

O, my Jesus, forgive us our sins; save us from the fires of Hell, and lead all souls to Heaven,

OUR FATHER
1 When Jesus returned to Capernaum after some days, it became known that he was at home.
HAIL MARY
2 Many gathered together so that there was no longer room for them, not even around the door,
and he preached the word to them.
HAIL MARY
3 They came bringing to him a paralytic carried by four men.
HAIL MARY
4 Unable to get near Jesus because of the crowd, they opened up the roof above him. After they
had broken through, they let down the mat on which the paralytic was lying.
HAIL MARY
5 When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "Child, your sins are forgiven."
HAIL MARY
6 Now some of the scribes were sitting there asking themselves,
7 "Why does this man speak that way? He is blaspheming. Who but God alone can forgive
sins?"
HAIL MARY
8 Jesus immediately knew in his mind what they were thinking to themselves, so he said, "Why
are you thinking such things in your hearts? 9 Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, 'Your sins
are forgiven,' or to say, 'Rise, pick up your mat and walk'?
HAIL MARY
10 But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority to forgive sins on earth"-- 11 he
said to the paralytic, "I say to you, rise, pick up your mat, and go home."
HAIL MARY
12 He rose, picked up his mat at once, and went away in the sight of everyone.
HAIL MARY
They were all astounded and glorified God, saying, "We have never seen anything like this."
HAIL MARY

35 When Jesus heard that they had thrown him out, he found him and said, "Do you believe in
the Son of Man?"
HAIL MARY
36 He answered and said, "Who is he, sir, that I may believe in him?"
37 Jesus said to him, "You have seen him and the one speaking with you is he."
HAIL MARY
38 He said, "I do believe, Lord," and he worshiped him.
HAIL MARY
39 Then Jesus said, "I came into this world for judgment, so that those who do not see might see,
and those who do see might become blind."
HAIL MARY
40 Some of the Pharisees who were with him heard this and said to him, "Surely we are not also
blind, are we?"
HAIL MARY
41 Jesus said to them, "If you were blind, you would have no sin; but now you are saying, 'We
see,' so your sin remains.

17 When Jesus arrived, he found that Lazarus had already been in the tomb for four days... 21
Martha said to Jesus, "Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.(But) even
now I know that whatever you ask of God, God will give you."
HAIL MARY
23 Jesus said to her, "Your brother will rise." 24 Martha said to him, "I know he will rise, in the
resurrection on the last day." 25 Jesus told her, "I am the resurrection and the life; whoever
believes in me, even if he dies, will live, 26 and everyone who lives and believes in me will
never die. Do you believe this?"
HAIL MARY
27 She said to him, "Yes, Lord. I have come to believe that you are the Messiah, the Son of God,
the one who is coming into the world..."
HAIL MARY
32 When Mary came to where Jesus was and saw him, she fell at his feet and said to him, "Lord,
if you had been here, my brother would not have died."
HAIL MARY
33 When Jesus saw her weeping and the Jews who had come with her weeping, he became
perturbed and deeply troubled, 34 and said, "Where have you laid him?" They said to him, "Sir,
come and see."
HAIL MARY
35 And Jesus wept. 36 So the Jews said, "See how he loved him."
37 But some of them said, "Could not the one who opened the eyes of the blind man have done
something so that this man would not have died?"
HAIL MARY
38 So Jesus, perturbed again, came to the tomb. It was a cave, and a stone lay across it. 39 Jesus
said, "Take away the stone." Martha, the dead man's sister, said to him, "Lord, by now there will
be a stench; he has been dead for four days."
HAIL MARY
40 Jesus said to her, "Did I not tell you that if you believe you will see the glory of God?" 41 So
they took away the stone. And Jesus raised his eyes and said, "Father, I thank you for hearing
me. 42 I know that you always hear me; but because of the crowd here I have said this, that they
HAIL, HOLY QUEEN, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness and our hope! To thee do we
cry, poor banished children of Eve; to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in
this vale of tears. Turn then, most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after
this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet
Virgin Mary!
V. Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God.
R. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ
In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
