a. A good tax system should meet five basic conditions:
fairness, adequacy, simplicity, transparency, and
administrative ease. Fairness, or equity, means that
everybody should pay a fair share of taxes.

d. Developing strategy takes time and resources. It requires
the time and commitment of some of the most highly paid
and highly experienced people in your organization. So, if

recommend that you dont do it. Poor planning is often

a) The topic of international migration has gained increasing importance for

organizations as they expand internationally. In this paper, we review prior research
on human resource management (HRM) of international migrants to identify gaps in
the literature. We then discuss paths for future research and present the papers in
this special issue, so as to offer a better understanding of HRM of international
migrants.
b) From 1890 until 1893 Taylor worked as a general manager and a consulting
engineer to management for the Manufacturing Investment Company of
Philadelphia, a company that operated large paper mills in Maine and Wisconsin. In
1909, Taylor published "The Principles of Scientific Management." In this, he
proposed that by optimizing and simplifying jobs, productivity would increase.
c) A business cannot survive without management because management is its means
of support. Management is concerned with acquiring maximum prosperity with
minimum efforts. Management is essential wherever group efforts are required to
be directed towards achievements of common goals.
d) Im a very hands-on manager. While I am clearly in charge of my team, we are
nonetheless a team and I am very much a member of that team. When the

circumstances require it, I will assert my authority and lead my staff in the direction I
have determined we should go. However, Im always open to input, ideas and
suggestions and consider myself to be very approachable in that respect. I realise
the importance of motivating my staff to deliver their best and Im tactful and
diplomatic when dealing with potential problems; I believe a lot more can be
achieved through communication than through conflict. I am nevertheless very
results-driven and expect every member of my team to pull their weight and help us
to achieve our common goals.
e) Predicting innovation has always been part science, part black magic and part luck.
The world of data gives us the ability to maybe leverage the science and luck parts
of that equation a little more. We are a predictive analytics firm so we have to eat
our own dog food so to speak. We look at the trends the data uncovers and then we
look at the variables that are more difficult to quantify. And then we make what we
think are good business decisions. But they are based on facts more than gut. Big
data uncovers things humans would overlook -- if you know how to look for them.
f) Leadership means different things to different people around the world, and different
things in different situations. For example, it could relate to community leadership,
religious leadership, political leadership, and leadership of campaigning groups
