HOI AN CITY TOUR (HALF DAY

Hoi An is an ancient town located in the lower section


of Thu Bon River, Quang Nam Province, about 30
kilometers south of Da Nang city. Hoi An was a
bustling international trading port, a meeting place of
the trading ships of Japan, China and the West during
the 17th and 18th centuries. Before this period, there
was here also trace of Champa port which was known
as a site on Silk Road along the sea. Hoi An ancient
town today is a special example of a traditional port
city in Southeast Asia which has been well preserved.
Most houses here are of traditional architecture dating
from the 17th to the 19th century, and are along the
narrow main streets. Hoi An is also a land mark
recorded much of the mixture of acculturation. The
architecture of the city reflects the influence of
Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese, French and British
traders. Hoi An still maintained an intangible cultural

Itinerary
The guide welcome you at hotel lobby. Walk to the ancient town, visit the Quan Cong
Temple, Phuc Kien Chinese Assembly Hall, Tan Ky old House, Japanese Bridge and Historic
& Cultural museum in Hoi An. Then you have a traditional music performance and visit
Hoi An handicraft workshop. After your walking tour if you have free time, you can do
shopping at the old town. Guide will take you back to the hotel. End of program

LANTERN MAKING TOUR

One of the greatest pleasure of any visitor to Hoi An is strolling along the beautiful streets of the
old town at
night under the flickering lights of the many beautiful lanterns. These colorful lanterns are not
only the symbol

Itinerary
The guide will meet you at the hotels lobby and you will ride a bicycle to the home of a
craftsman in the city.
Here you will get a brief introduction to the history, shape, and color of the lanterns as well
as the many
stages of making them. Choose your favorite sample of lantern. Do step by step with the
craftsman how to
make and decorate your own lanterns. You can also keep it as souvenir. Goodbye to your
host. Back to Hoi An

HOI AN - MY SON SANCTUARY

My Son, located 50 km from Hoi An, was an imperial city during the Cham dynasty between the
4th and 12th
centuries. My Son sanctuary is a large complex of religious relics that comprises of more than 70
architectural
works. They include temples and towers that connect to each other with intricate red brick
designs. The main
component of the Cham architectural design is the tower built to reflect the divinity of the King.

Son. Once there,
visit the Tra Kieu capital which was the former administration center of Champa Kingdom.
Discover the
majestic ancient ruins at My Son including ancient towers which were built from the fourth
century. Back to

Marble Mountains is located about 12km south east of Da Nang city. Marble mountain referred to
as Ngu Hanh
Son or Mountains of the Five Elements, consist of five marble mountains: Thuy Son (water) which
is the highest,
Moc Son (wood), Kim Son (metal), Tho Son (soil), and Hoa Son (fire).They are located 12 km to the
west of
Da Nang.
Cham Museum was built in 1915 with the financial support of the French Far-East Research
Institute in Viet Nam.
At present, the museum displays approximately 300 sculptures, among which some are made
from terracotta
from the period between the 5th to 15th centuries. The works were collected from Cham temples
and towers
throughout Central Viet Nam, more specifically the area stretching from Quang Binh to Binh
Thuan. All the
sculptures are displayed in ten showrooms named after where the pieces were discovered. After
viewing the
pieces in the showrooms, you can visit outside exhibition spaces.

Itinerary

Five Elements). Climb up Thuy Son (Water) by the stone stairs and enjoy the panoramic
view of the
nearby countryside, and visit Huyen Khong cave before entering Tam Thai and Linh Ung
pagodas.
Take a rest at the foot of the mountain, where you can visit Non Nuoc stone village. Here,
you can see
the local skillful sculptors creating many marble products which are exported to many
countries worldwide.
On the way to Da Nang, visit the Cham museum.

Itinerary
The local guide pick up you at the hotels lobby and then depart for Hue. On the way, you
will stop at Hai Van
pass to have a spectacular view back along the coast to Da Nang. Continue to Hue along
some of the most
winding roads in Viet Nam which glory in the best sea views in Central Viet Nam. Once in
Hue, visit the
ancient capita before taking a boat to the beautiful Thien Mu pagoda. Have lunch in a local
restaurant.
Visit the royal tombs of Khai Dinh or Tu Duc. These are two among the 13 kings of the
Nguyen dynasty
which lasted from 1802 until 1945. On the returning trip to Hoi An, stop at Dong Ba market,
where you can
buy local products for souvenir.

central market. Here you will have the opportunity to interact with the local sellers and
learn
about the ingredients to be used in the cooking lesson later.
Bicycle to Tra Que vegetable village, welcome come drink for rest and walk through the
vegetable gardens
where local farmers work on their fields using the traditional methods of hundreds of years
