many traders grow raise and produce their products on their backyards, farmlands
and wetlands. It is also a key factor to the growth of the economy of rural and urban
municipalities.
Mayantoc is one of the municipalities of Province of Tarlac. According to the 2010
census, the town has a population of 29,987 people. The Municipality of Mayantoc is
bounded by the municipalities of Sta. Ignacia to the east, San Jose to the South, San
Clemente and Camiling to the North.

Due to the booming of economy of Municipality of Mayantoc, the public market itself
cant accommodate the emergences of new businesses and vendors stalls. Because
of this, a possible solution is to build an extension building that will provide space

Background of the Study

The Philippines is one of the fast rising economies among developing countries in
Asia. One of the factors to the growth of the economy of Philippines are the
microbusiness that mostly be found in the public market. Due to industrialization,
many different technologies are proposed especially in agriculture which is the
building block of Philippine Economy. These technologies help the producers to
produce more output product which are sold in public market. That is why as the
producers raises its output more businesses emerge in the public market. If the
public market itself cant accommodate the emergences of new business, the public
market itself become overcrowded that will unorganized the arrangement of
businesses and affect the quality of product and services. As this continues it will
affect the economy of municipality itself, like the case of Municipality of Mayantoc
