Agriculture, though every government act to impute higher growth in it, but it is

failing to do so as it always acts as support system. Rather government should

adopt agriculture than support, provide farming as an employment. Many regions
of India are not showing good results in agriculture sector. The financial burdens,
failure of crops results in increasing number suicides of farmer (Call him producer)
"A producer should not die"
The food security can only be provided if a farmer is secured and that can only be
done if he is protected economically. (Not by waving off loans or giving another sub
loan to clear loan). Many policies, programmes, schemes are launched from year
1950 onward, but doesnt shown much of results due to ill-coordination within the
schemes itself and lack of information to the farmer.
Today econimically, our growth rate is waving around 5- 7% and service sector is
main contributor for it, but whether it is sustainable?
Our most of service sector depends on global economy and not robust as it is
projected by elite economists. the sustainability can only be achieved if
manufacturing sectors (Agriculture and industry) are robust and strong.
For this, agriculture to be adopted. There is no need of MNREGA, PMSGY, PMRY etc.
separately. Instead of daily wages, Give monthly payslips, assessment, Form 16 to
farmers, assessment of their performance and it should emulate with the industries
type model. A standard and structured income to all farmers according to their
years of experience work for which they are recruited, farmers with land holding will
be called as managers and supervisors for assessment of work of farmers. All will
have the government job status, inter regional transfers to make farmer aware of
regional constraints and potentiality of soil and irrigation of different regions.
The inputs and outputs will be under the control of government(ex machinery,
consumables like seeds, manure, fertilizers and other inventories will be procured
by government with consultation from Regional Agricultural centers and output will
be collected by government and will be handed over to PDS ).
Even mutual cultural exchanges can be predominant and effective in rural areas. It
also prevents Urban migration and in future reverse migration will be visualized. Dr
APJ concept of PURA can be effective in this concept as the income is standard.
Markets, Retail sectors will prosper in rural areas too.
It can be possible if Centre- State comes out with policy of Employment status to
Agriculture.
