Motivation letter

Bringing together women from different countries and empowering the women rights could be a
bridge of friendship between two or maybe more than two countries with the emphasis on gender
equality, inclusion of the idea about the women capabilities, as well as comparing women from
Serbia, Kosovo, Bosnia(whole Balkan)..in terms of finding similarities that would bring them
closer to each other and allow them to create powerful alliances in order to achieve a lot in the
fields of human rights and equality.
Me, as a young woman from Kosovo, I wish to learn a lot more about these things and help my
country to build a strong democracy, while fighting for women rights all over the region. I
believe that women have a big impact on peace-building, reconciliation and mutual cooperation.
Building relationships as we go would be the key to our successful bridge-building goal, which
would end in a result where all the people root for each other, wish for peace and equality. There
was a time in history where women were the peaceful rulers of the households, and they
represented the pillar that held the roof over a home and without them nothing would be able to
prosper and achieve greatness. After a while, women got a bit compromised in terms of rights,
because of their fragility. They were labeled as weaker gender or sex, and with patriarchy
coming into play, women lost their rights. Nevertheless, they lost their official title, but, they
remained pillars of the society because they create life, grow a life and create a man from a baby.
Taking into consideration all of these facts mentioned above, that is exactly where the strength of
a woman lies. Women were and will always be the pillars of our society, and with their unity,
they could rediscover their once known rights, follow the path that promotes equality and enjoy
the privileges equally as every other citizen, person and human being. With this all said, I believe
it was motivational enough (for every woman that read this) that all of us in the region to start

pushing each-other and create bonds that are stronger than chains, friendships long enough to
create history, and bridges that cannot be shaken.
